One thing about the college is that it is constantly trying to upscale its position through every possible way and students are also with the college to build this position and make it one of the best college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is great and it met all the requirements that we really need to learn. The exam structure is good enough to help the students and become good in their studies. There are total 8 semester so there are 8 exams. Along with this every semester has 2 internal exams to keep the students ready to face any exam.
Placement Experience
Placements are outstanding due to the placement cell in our college. They are super active to meet student demands and secure jobs of many.They constantly give efforts to make sure that no student must be there with no job in hand.
College Events
Many events round the year are celebrated in our college, starting from freshers that marks the beginning of the session, next comes Viswakarma puja, Techno-management fest called SRISTI, and Cultural fest named as Jeclat.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As it is a government supported college, so fees are feasible and affordable. Also the hostel fees are too cheap. Fees are given 8 times during each semester and there are installments that anybody can apply if faced problem.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provide Half fee scholarship and full fee scholarship to students who come from poor background and cannot affort education availed by the college. So upon interview students are eligible to get 100% scholarship or 50% scholarship.
Campus Life
Our college team also participate in many inter-college sports and there are many extracurricular activities that go side by side of academics. Also tree plantation week, cycle race, campus cleaning etc are the events that are organised every year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Infrastructure is too good, and the maintenance is really quick. Also there is annual maintenance every 3 year, which keep the hostel neat and tidy. The facilities like water etc. are 24x7 and there is negligible power cut.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumnis are really helpful to us in every possible way they can and also we connect them on LinkedIn where they provide us with opportunities they feel we should get. They visit our college to refresh their memories and interact with us. Also one reunion event is organised to give youngers exposure to meet alumnis.
Admission
I sat for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination and got a good ranking, and then I applied for counseling and got an opportunity to study in this college in the field of Electronics and communication engineering.
Faculty
Faculty in our college are really helpful to us and they want us to hold their hand to do something for the betterment of our college. They are very professional in teaching and teaches in whichever language students prefer.
