In the B Pharm degree there are 8 different semesters exam by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. You have to crack all these semester. The course duration is 4 years. The marks are fully online basis.

Placement Experience

Look if u taking this vital step of your life for job or placement then you will take a big wrong decision by taking admission in this college. Because from 2017 placement is extremely poor. Company aren't coming this year also.

College Events

Talking about events the extra curriculum activities are so poor. Teachers are very less conscious about this. College Fest or Freshers are so bad. Students are so upset for this. College is ruling ourselves.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total amount of this course without hostel is around 4 laks. By taking hostel the fees will be more. But the hostel facilities are not so good. If u take any PG or Mess then the total money will be spent in 4 years like 8 laks.

The scholarship and loan facility also available in this college. There so many type of scholarship. But a student can take one scholarship at a time. This is not good. They should think about it. And

Yes alumni is also available. But as usual extra curriculum activities are not good. Students are so upset for this. College is ruling ourselves. Alumni is quite good. But not so good. Yes yes yes yes

Admission

To get the admission in the college you have to crack WBJEE or JEE main exam. The u have to council. Then by the seat or merit rank you will get admission in this college. You have to pay for around 70 thousands for admission only.

Faculty

Talking about faculty this college have best faculties till now. All the teachers are so helpful except some. This college have a Director sir who is West Bengal 1st Registered Pharmacist from JU. It have also some teachers who direct come from the Pharma Industries.

B pharm course is a professional course. And the some medical college in which I am studying is a recognised Government College which is very good for a b pharm student. Placement are not so good but I can confirm you that if you are good in studies then you will have a min package of 50LPA .Every pharma companies in india or out india contains our alumnis as well as you will get a polite and respectful behaviour in every company after knowing you r passed out from Iopj .

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
