I didn't took any entrance exam,i attended anna university counselling i opt this college because of the facilities provided by the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Anna university course curriculum is vast,In mecganical Engineering the electives choosen by my college is Nuclear Engineering,Un Conventioal Machining,Non Destructive Testing.
Internships Opportunities
I never attended any internship from my college. They allowed internships for students who are getting good marks. They making the low mark students to concentrate on studies. They allow internship for a maximum of 1 and a half month and allows one internship per year.
Placement Experience
In mechanical department placement is worst (only mrf came in off campus nobody got selected),other department placements are good.
College Events
Sports meet Every year sports festival came 3rd year students are responsible for the competition to be held smoothly final year students are not allowed to participate in the competition. The games include are volley ball,foot ball,basket ball,cricket,kabaddi,Carrom board. The prizes will be given for the winners in the auditorium hall Hostel day-The most waiting moment for all hostel student in the hostel we freely loot inside our campus we are allowed to take photographs in the classrooms and labs from 9 am 5pm. The hostel culturals starts at 7 pm. Each year students dance for two songs. Prize awards given for hostel toppers,room neatness award,good attendance award,the functions end at 10 pm,two movies will be played on hostel.
Fee Structure And Facilities
When I am studying the fee is 1 lakh 20 thousand for one year its ok because the facilities provided by them matches with the cost,but now the fees is 1 lakh 80 thousand its too expensive.
Fees and Financial Aid
Community scholarship availableIn first year they are providing 25000 scholarship for anna university counselling students who are economically below. If any scholarship available we can ask they will provide help to us.
Campus Life
The overall my campus life is good. In the first year it will be frustrating because our college is one of the strict college in chennai,from the next year we will adopt the situation after that u will feel this will be the best college in tamilnadu. If u are good at any sports they took special care on u,They will provide whatever help u want related to that sport. Our college is famous for volley ball if our college enter in to any volley ball competition surely our college got prize. Debate competition will be held during special occassion like teachers day,kamarajar birthday,gandhi birthday.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are too good. The are providing one room for 4 persons(spacious one) seperate bath room and toilet room,they are cleaning the roomd thrice a day,dobby facilities also there. For first year nearly 250 seats are available in hostel,for nex
Alumni/Alumna
Inside the campus it is difficult to contact with seniors(lunch time,tea time are different for juniors and seniors). There is no alumni network in our college.
Exam Structure
We have three internal test and one model exam,one model practical exam held for each lab. After model exams are over we have one month study holidays.
Faculty
Faculties are good. They are behaving in a friendly manner They explained all doubts clearly. Some faculties gave their numbers for asking doubts. Instead of college hours the faculties are coming for special class hours in that period also they are teach
