Remarks

Overall it is good package for a student living in Mumbai. Studies are very well taken of. Attendance is not that of an issue. Placements are quite good in the college. Tech culture is ever growing and booming amongst the youngsters. Not a great start-up culture could be a negative sign for the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The curriculum is ok when compared to industry standards. A student has to take initiative from their side in order to excel in industry. Subjects such as Database Management System, Operating system, Computer Networks, Data Structures and Algorithms etc. are part of the curriculum. The exams are semester based with 2 semesters per year. In total 8 SEM exams are conducted in a span of 4 years and their results are declared in pointers system out of 10.

Placement Experience

4

The placements of our college is quite good when compared to various other colleges that comes in our Mumbai University. The highest package is around 18.5 while the average package is around 5lpa.Companies like ZS associates, Carwale, Quantiphi, Interactive Brokers, TCS, Amazon, Infosys visits our campus. College do provide internships with their inhouse projects and tie up with other companies as well with a stipend of around ?7000 per month.

College Events

4

There are 2 major events namely Euphoria (annual cultural fest) and the Crescendo (annual tech fest). There are many events other than ghis such as hackathon, Industrial Visits etc. There are more than 10 councils/teams within the college with their different domains such as CodeLabs, TedX, CSI, Vayushastra etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite high when compared to other similar colleges in the area.(Mumbai) For a year of Engineering in this college it can cost around 1.4 to 1.5 lakhs. Other colleges are around the same range with more facilities and centralised AC, and good infrastructure when compared to our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I know a friend of mine who opted for TFWS scheme in which you don't have to pay any Tution fees which is around 85% of the total fees. Another friend of mine used categories such as SC/ST/OBC that is very common in India which costed them around 50% of the total fee.

Campus Life

3

Annual Sports day is organised for various sports such as football, cricket, table tennis, carrom, etc throughout the year and at the last class with the most points are given sports trophy which is a great deal in college environment. Many labs and workshops are conducted for helping students be industry ready.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No I haven't opted for hostel. But I have a friend of mine who opted for hostel and he said that the hostel rates are quite reasonable and the quality of the hostel is also good. ?5000 per month for the room and ?2000 for the food.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors and Alumni are very helpful and help the juniors with interactions, suggestions, mistakes they made and which should be avoided. They also help with referral in the company and talk about the transition from college to Industry. Many alumni have been placed in various top tech companies such as Uber, Amazon etc.

Admission

According to the merits in the MHT-CET examination of Maharashtra State Board the admissions are given through CAP rounds by Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education. There are 3 CAP rounds in the process. The examination consist of 200marks.

Faculty

4

The faculty of the college are mostly post graduate and PHd holders. While most of them are very good in their respective domains, some of them aren't that good to hold the position in the college and doesn't meet Industry standards. Always encouraging to participate in various events and to create advanced projects.
