Remarks

Positive good environment, good people, good lecturers and staffs. Negative - the staffs are very slow to do there jobs.That really pissed us off.

It's a very good under state govt. Course. Based on CBSC semester. Every 6 months with different subjects. We have to learn 30+ subjects in 3 years. Gaining number is more important for this course.

No. I don't know about that. If they are providing then sorry I am not knew to it. But our state govt. Providing 4—5 scholarship after.

Campus Life

Activities are good. Labs are not relevant to ME SO I don't know about that. Sports are very strong in our they won verious trophy in football and any other sports. annual sports competitionalso happening in our college.

Yes. They are very helpful. They are very kind towards every students.

Admission

I submitted each and every documents which is relevant for the admission.after I got my roll no. And pay slip instantly. With that payslip I collected my College I'd card and other important card.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
