Overall good experience

The administration is quite bad. They only cause trouble to the students and when something goes wrong they make excuses. In order to get signature from HOD or from any other person, one has to keep on irritating them till they finally agree to do your work, else they keep delaying it and making excuses.

The course has been updated to CBCS (Choice based Credit System) where you are free to choose open and program electives in higher semesters. Exam structure consists of 2 quizzes, internal assessment, a mid-semester examination and an end-semester examination.

Placements are very good and a lot of companies visit the campus like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Walmart, Directi, etc. Yes, college provides internships in 5th semester. Currently I am in 3rd Semester and yet to sit for internships.

Technical fest called Pantheon which gives a platform for students to showcase their technical skills. Sports fest called Vajra where students from many colleges compete in various sports. Cultural Fest called Bitotsav where there is music and dance all over the campus.

Overall it is slightly on the expensive side. It is approximately 1.5 lakhs per semester and fees increase by 10% each year which is too much. I hope something is done to get this removed else fees will skyrocket in coming batches.

Scholarships are given to students on basis of merit cum means basis. All students above a CGPA of 8 and family income below 6lpa are eligible to apply. Other scholarships are also there for students with reservation.

Labs are quite old with most equipment from the ancient times. Some newer labs have decent equipment while most have outdated equipment. Sports facility is good. The multi gym is very good and sports equipments are available. There is also an active dramatics, music and dance club.

The alumni network is quite good. The seniors are very good and helpful. Senior-junior interactions is quite good. There is no ragging on campus and seniors and juniors are like friends. Seniors are always ready to help their juniors.

After qualifying JEE Mains, seats are alloted by JoSAA for all IITs, NITs and GFTIs. After 6/7 rounds of online seat allocation, one is required to report to a reporting centre to freeze the alloted seat.

Some faculty are really good and helpful. Most of them are strict and there are also some who do not know much still they try to give their best. But students do not find their classes so much of interest and decide to pursue other interests like coding.
