BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements are great even computer science and engineering branch has above 17 LPA and the highest last year is 1.45 cr and even in other branch its decent not that bad as compared to private colleges, if i talk about my branch MNC its quite good having average of 11 LPA and highest of 55 LPA.

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

Placements are good for core branches here at Bit mesra, as compared to other colleges, about 90% students got placed as per I know from seniors, the highest core package is around 20 LPA, main top recruiting companies for core chemical are reliance, jindal and many more!

The course curriculum is well aligned with the structure and department. A comprehensive study path with supportive and knowledgeable professors. From the second semester, we study our core subjects, which are very useful for our interview preparations during the internship season. Different internship programmes are provided for research and journal work.The exam structure and lectures are quite engaging but hectic too.

From 5th sem you become eligible for campus placement Around 200 companies visit and the placement percentage stats is around 70 percent The highest package is 1.41 crore and the average package is around 10 lpa I will do job for a year and go for higher studies

I choose BCA .The exam and timing of exam is not difficult. They only ask questions which they teach you in class .No out of syllabus questions were asked. In this course they teach you coding which is very helpful in getting jobs in IT companies.

The fourth-year students are eligible for campus placements with a good CGPA (8+ is safe, 7+ is also allowed). The placement companies include big names like Google, Microsoft, Visa, etc. The average package from ECE goes around 13 LPA, with a median of around 11 LPA. Around 70% of the registered students get placed. As for me, I am yet to decide my future endeavours.

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

I would rate the course caliber at BIT Mishna as moderate comprehensive and relevant as seven out of 10 positives It covers strong theoretical fundamentals especially in court subjects like dsa digital electronics and engineering maths The elective subjects and minor specializations offer flexibility in later semesters The criticism influenced my choice due to its balance of core engineering and emerging tech Areas of improvement More hands on learning He revised outdated syllabus Increase faculty to industry collaboration Exam pattern Each semester has two mid sem and one endsem with labs and internals Difficulties moderate but depends on subject and instructor

At the end of 6th semester student get internship offers and become eligible for placement. Around 150 companies visit every year and 400 to 500 offers are made it also depends on year but you can find recent datas on College website. It has a very strong aluminium network as this is an older college around 70 years old. Many companies like Amazon,Flipkart ,Microsoft ,deloit ,Accenture,L&T ,Tata steel,TCS ,coal India,TVS, mahindra, tata motors visit here. Once you obtain degree from this college there is a very high chance that you will get placed around 10 lpa if you are a good student. However unfortunately you don't get placed you can also try off campus else you need to prepare for other government competitive exams. Around 70-80% get placee every year. How ever this number is high in case of core branches like mechanical chemical production and industrial because this college is located in Ranchi Jharkhand where tech companies visit less and core companies visit more. CS is considered best branch but the number of students is also high in these branches.
