A good college for successful career

Pros : Our college has a good infrastructure with wide spread campus. They always encourage startup ideas and other science project ideas. They also support talanted students in sports and cultural. Cons : chairman is more interested in conducting business experiments.

Sahyadri college was affiliated to veshveshwarayah technology University belgavi. It conducts semester exams once in 6 months ,for B.E course we have 8 semester to complete the course. Our college has been NAAC accredited with A grade.

Sahyadri is wellknown for its highest number in placements.there is industrial professional placement faculty Rashmi bandari.she has more than 30 years of experience in this field.we have dedicated aptitude lab , spacious well equipped hall ,more than 1000 computers specially dedicated for cunducting placements.

Fests are not very popular in our campus, but our chairman is more interested in conducting technical fest for 12th class students for marketing purposes. This is a disappointed situation of my college.

For Common entrance test aka CET Students the fees is Rs 75000 ,and for management students the fees varies from 1lack to 3lack per year. There are also some miscellaneous fees like placement fees, training fees around Rs 5000 per year.

My college does not provide any scholarship aid, but there are few state and central scholarships for eligible students. Student loans are normally provided by public banks for high interest , according to my opinion loans are not good for poor families.

Sahyadri management always promotes extra caricular activities. There are two start up labs named dreamers and challengers specially dedicated for encouraging student skills and making them participate in IITs and NIITs competition.our students have won many first prizes in these competitions.

I have not opted for hostel ,but according to my friends opinion it is some what good.The hostel has all required facilities like three times food, wifi ,hot water and good infrastructure. They provide good food for the hosteling.

The alumnies of our college has greate success rate. They contact the placement office for supporting the graduates for placements. We also connect with our alumnies with linkdn and other social networks and have a good relations.

Common entrance test conducted by government body, by meeting certain cutoff marks list of eligible colleges will be displayed. My college is having one of good score in the cutoff. There is also management quota for entrance.

We have a well organized staffs for every department, only Mtech certified graduate lecture are allowed in our college.there is also student welfare officers who maintain discipline in the campus.faculties undergo special training for new courses like machine learning and other growing technologies.
