Remarks
There are both positive and negative points depending on the way you see it. Being under the tight schedule of SPPU the time one gets to study including all the extra curricular activities becomes a bit haptic but it teaches you an important lesson of time management. Yes in the start people do not like the honeycomb infrastructure of the college as it feels like a maze to the fresher's.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really adverse in the first year as its designed for students to have an interdisciplinary knowledge of all fields of engineering. Second year onwards one study's about the field they have choosen. The exam Pattern/Structure followed is that of SPPU(Pune University) as the college is affiliated with SPPU.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of the college is very hard working and enthusiastic. Last year's placement record was 78% with highest package of INR 21lakh. Yes , the college provides interships. The college has MoU with various companies.
College Events
Our college has three Major Events during each academic year. 1] Engineering Today: its the Technical Symposium of our college usually held in September. In this more then 30,000 students from various college's participate. 2] Ashwamedh : its the cultural and sports event of our college its usually held in February. 3] Shivanjali : its the Annual Gathering (Alumini Meet) of our College its usually held in February.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The Fee Structure is feasible. There are Scholarship programs for students. There is earn and learn program for needy students where they can work after college hours and earn some money for themselves.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have availed the Caste scholarship in which half of your fees is paid by the government of Maharashtra. To apply for this scholarship we have to fill online form on mahadbt website. There are also other Scholarship like EBC which is income based.
Campus Life
The labs are very well equipped woth the devices an apparatus required. The college have ground with a size of about three football fields including cricket practice nets, basketball field, volleyball court, Kabaddi ground. Extra curricular activities like inter-department Sports matches and culture events are organised throughout the year.
Alumni/Alumna
Our college has a very great alumni network. They are really helpful. Because of the very good alumni network students can get in touch with the alumni if they require help in any regarding projects or papers they are working on.
Admission
One has to appear for MHCET or JEE exam. After the results of MHCET is out you have to fill a form on MHCET site to apply for your preferred colleges. There are three rounds in this after which you have to go and take admission in the college that you have got.
Faculty
The faculties are highly experienced and skilled in the art of teaching. They pay attention not only on the theoretical part of the subject but also on the practicals. Most of the faculty's are professors.
