It is an average college which used to be a huge brand once upon a time but not now. The college faculties needs to upgrade. Course curriculum needs to update. College campus life is really good. Core streams need the focus rather than cse and it.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is still behind of latest industry but still clear basics and important subjects are there to gather knowledge for root of the core engineering. The exam structure is based on semester system. Every 6months for 1 semester. Per semester you have to give two internals, one external main paper and one practical lab paper and one viva session for each subjects.
Placement Experience
My college doesn't provide internship and regarding placements. The it industries are not booming any more in India. So in every private college, situation is bad for job. But still some companies come to our college like as it, sales etc. Core companies do not come to private colleges. The average salary packages are from 2.5lakhs upto 4.8lakhs.
College Events
The lists of events which are celebrated by the students are- 1.bihan( freshers welcome) 2. Saraswati puja 3. Krirathan (inter college outdoor game fest) 4. GOT( inter college indoor entertaining game fest) 5. Techtrix( tech fest) 6. Apprachanya (farewell ceremony) 7. Regalia( cultural fest)
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is mediocre and less than other private colleges. Around 3.7 lakhs. It is little bit less than the expensive for a middle class family boy. Each semester you have to pay 40 to 46 thousand approx.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college doesn't have any loan facilities. You can opt for tuition fee waiver or freeship if you want to decrease the burden of fees. Otherwise you can go to bank for applying loan. The college has a tie up with sbi band and all india bank
Campus Life
The college has many options for outdoor game like football or cricket or volleyball. Otherwise for lab and others you can join the workshops or project competitions for showing your skills. The college has a robotics society and rotaract club and a inter college football team too.
Hostel Facilities
College does not have any hostel facilities. I have not opted for hostel. You can go for paying guest or any other rented room facilities near college. The price for any room will cost approximately 3 to 5 thousand per month.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are helpful. Alumni network is helpful interms of ragging or any kind of help. Alumni network is also helpful for your project and other issues for studies and exam. Seniors are good and friendly.
Admission
At first i have to clear my 12th with minimum 60% in all subjects and 45% in pcm. Then i had to give wbjee entrance exam to get a rank and go for choice filling of colleges so that i can get my preferred college by counciling.
Faculty
The faculty of the college are strict and well disciplined but they need to upgrade and need to get the development for latest subjects and curriculum. Faculties have the potential and knowledge to teach but they are small in number.
