Remarks

It had a glorious history but now this college is crying bitterly on being resource less. Number of teachers is very low. We don't have placement cell. We have a rich library. All books related to science can be found.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The curriculum is fine. The course contains every thing what a graduate student should learn. My college had only science departments. The course did contain chapters which would arouse your interests towards science. We have yearly exams conducted by University. However teachers sometimes takes a written/verbal test to check the progress of class.

Placement Experience

0.5

No, our college has no placement cell and does not provide internship. However after studying from here, many aluminus are a now at great positions like author, researchers, scientist, directors of many good institutes worldwide, and many politicians too.

College Events

5

We celebrate Freshers' Day - We celebrate this department wise. We welcome the newcomers, Independence Day - We celebrate this day with hearts full of patrioism. We organise cultural programs and parades. National Science Day, Science quizzes, debates, and sessions are held. New researches are discussed. National Maths Day - Sessions are held, new and vast tricks are told. College Establishment Day - Games and sports activities are organised. Cultural program is too organised. All birthdays of important scientists worldwide - Unglorified scientific innovations are told to students. Some guests from other institutes are called to have some sessions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government aided college, fee is too cheap. We have to submit fee once in a year. A middle class family brought up student can too afford it. We have to submit examination fee separate which is cheap too.

Fees and Financial Aid

Girls and backward class students like SC/ST and OBC (as recognised by government) are taught on subsidised fees and pay very low fee. For upper class students, the state government funded loans are recognised by college.

Campus Life

1.5

Extracurricular activities are organised. We have a gymnasium, a sports ground as big as an average size cricket stadium, sports equipments and kits are provided. Labs are not so much equiped but well enough for a graduate college level practicals. We have practicals regularly.

Alumni/Alumna

No, they aren't helpful. Alumini are well doing. But they don't help college. Last year for the first time an alumini meet was held. But no fund was raised. The college too does not keep records of alumini.

Admission

The year I completed my 12th, I applied for the Undergraduate programme. An entrance test was commenced. The entrance test is taken by University on the behalf of the colleges tagged. I cleared it and further a counselling was done for selection of subjects. A week later, my classes started. In that week we were asked to submit our admission fee online and to produce the paid reciept to the office.

Faculty

4

The faculties are highly bonafide and are student friendly. They teach in such a way that science seem no more difficult at such higher level. Due to them only, we score highest marks in the University exams every year. They are really appreciated.

Placement Experience:

From the last year students become eligible for the compus placement. Many students get selected in the campus filed like sbi, airtel, Infosys, icici bank etc. The highest package reached around 5 lac and average around 2-3 lac per annum. 80 percent placement rates my plan after getting the honour degree to full the government exam on graduation level.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, I would rate the course curriculum as good and fairly comprehensive in terms of both relevance and coverage. It includes most of the important subjects required for building a strong foundation, and it gives a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the wide range of core subjects included in the syllabus. The curriculum covers fundamental topics as well as some advanced subjects, which made me feel that it would be useful both for jobs and for higher studies. The inclusion of projects, assignments, and case studies also influenced my decision, as they help in applying concepts in a practical way. In terms of real-world preparation, the curriculum prepares students reasonably well. Many subjects are directly related to industry requirements, and the project work helps in developing problem-solving and analytical skills. However, practical exposure can be improved further by adding more hands-on activities, live projects, and industry-oriented tools. For students who want to go for higher studies, the theoretical base provided by the course is quite helpful. There are a few areas where the curriculum and teaching methods can be improved. Some subjects have outdated topics which should be updated according to current industry trends. More focus can be given to practical training, internships, and skill-based courses. Teaching methods can also become more interactive by using more discussions, presentations, and real-life examples instead of only slide-based lectures. Regarding the exam system, the course follows a semester-based pattern. There are usually: Internal assessments like quizzes and assignments during the semester One end-semester exam at the end of each semester Exams are conducted twice a year, at the end of each semester. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate. If a student studies regularly and understands the concepts, clearing the exams is not very difficult. The questions are most
