There were excellent teachers who share their knowledge to their students. Many were known on international level. Bad is that there is no clean and seperate toilet for girl at that time. But many things were changed from our time to now. At our time library opens only once a week but now everyone it's open. It's improving day by day.

The syllabus at that time was on outdated (according to me) was after our batch CBCS syllabus was applied which is same all over India. I is relevant little bit, research driven upto little extent and not completely fair. There is little bit discrimination based on caste also in admission procedure as well as in internal marks by few professors. Some were not biased towards students but few are not like that.

There was no any companies that visited the campus for placement drives for our or even other courses. Since many lagging were there and this is one of the thing. Such a big and renowned institution but no campusing is not making good image of college.

Independence day and Republic Day is must which is celebrated in our college. And while I was in Post graduate no cultural programs I have seen. Some time only few events were organised on university level only. Otherwise no cultural events like annual day celebrated.

No fee for girls. Boys had to pay fee but that was very less ( feasible). The mode of payment is we have fill form issue challan then the go to the bank for deposit. There was no additional fees/ charges that we had paid in order to secure our admission to the course. Yes, the College provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

No the college didn't offer scholarship opportunities to students. As much I know no students were getting scholarship based on their performance during the course which must be there so that students will be more encouraged to study hard and do well.

Girl : boy is 24:8, students parties were there, no workshops I had ever attended as there was no workshop organised. There is a lot descrimination based on same college student or from other university. Students thought that the students of Patna university were the only best and other students were not good as them. Lot of politics.

No I hadn't posted for hostel because my home is not much far from the college. Hostel rooms were big and in one room there were two students residing. That was sufficient for two separate cupboard, bed, etc. Overall hostel was good.

Seniors were helpful to the perticular students the those whom they know earlier. Since I was from other university so they never helped me. Some alumini were professors in the same university and they were helpful specially research fellows were very much helpful in every aspect.

The advertisement of admission was published in newspaper as well as online site. We filled the form online with personal details and educational qualification. Afterwards a merit list has been declared and then those who were selected their documents were verified and later on admission given.

At that time in our botany Post graduate department there were nearly 7-8 permanent faculty. Rest were either from other departments or may be research fellow. Some teachers like Shri M. P. Trivedi sir is excellent teacher. I love his teaching a lot. I still remember the topics how interesting he makes all the topics that a carbon copy of that prints in our mind. That was the one of the most excellent professor there. Now he is head of Pg department.
