As earlier stated my college is the best one in our Pune city. Our college infrastructure is great it has the legacy of big artists. Our college is best for extracurricular activities and also for study too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Though the college is very nice in most of the areas, sometimes you may get irritated by administrative staff. There will be long queues sometimes for exam forms (due to the university affiliates process) Autonomous status is given to the college by UGC. NAAC has reaccredited college with an A+ grade and 3.70 CGPA out of 4 which was 5th all over India ( at the time of accreditation). It has funding from UGC under the star college scheme. Most of the science department has separate government funding under the UGC DBT scheme.
Placement Experience
No, I have no idea of college providing internships. It might be providing the internship. But as far as my knowledge, I Don't know whether the college is providing internships or not. This answer can be given better by the college.
College Events
All the major occasions are celebrated by the college. The national ceremonies, as well as regional festivals, are also celebrated. There is an annual gathering every year. Educational and cultural events are also organized by the college and other NGOs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is very feasible. It is very cheap. This institution accepts the least amount of fees as compared to other colleges in this region. One-time payment, as well as installments, are also available.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have no idea about the scholarship /loan facilities offered by my college because I have not applied yet for any such facilities. But my course conducted by my college is a government granted and the government provides various scholarships and loans to students.
Campus Life
My course is very good and very important in the future of almost all things. there is a lot of focus on practical learning. lots of research initiatives are taken by the institute. About sport, my college is very good. They are practiced daily for sport.
Hostel Facilities
I am not accommodated in the college hostel. So I have no idea about the actual condition of the college hostel. But as far as my knowledge and hearings from the collegemates, the hostel infrastructure and facilities are quite good.
Alumni/Alumna
Our batch is the senior-most batch of the department as I am pursuing my last year of a master's degree. So from seniors point of view, we all classmates try to help and guide our juniors in every problem they face.
Admission
Founded in 1916, Sir Parashurambhau College (SP College) is one of the most prestigious colleges in Pune, India. The college offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate as well as doctoral level. A total of five courses are offered at the UG level, four courses are offered at the PG level and the Ph.D. degree is offered with three different specializations. The UG courses are offered for a duration of three years and the PG courses are offered for a duration of two years.
Faculty
Everything about the college is perfect. Education, as well as extracurricular activities, boost the morale of the students studying here. The ambiance of the campus too is refreshing and it is worth studying out there. The faculty here is very experienced and highly qualified. Each professor is having a doctorate qualification and is highly supportive. Every subject is having a specialized professor so it is easy for them too to provide specific and accurate knowledge.
