Remarks
We are the students of the mechanical branch are participating in formula events conducted by FMAE and yearly it conducts three events supra, FFS, and formula Bharath. We need to build a race car based on certain rules and regulations.
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus we are going through is outdated and it's not related to the outside world. For one year we have two semesters. In each semester our institute will conduct two mid-exams and one-semester exam.
Placement Experience
On and average half of the students from the fourth year students get placed but when comes to package it is less. Internships are based on students' wishes. For taking permission in internships we have a process and depending on the money we will decide it.
College Events
Yearly we conduct only two events. Technical event -sumshodhini. Non-technical event -Sanskriti. Each department will conduct events based on their stream and the non-technical one will commence for 3 days and we enjoy it a lot.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The amount is in Indian rupees. College fee-115000. Based on the caste for oc students fee structure is 115000, for BC students it is 75000, for SC and ST students fee is zero. Hostel fees 51000. Bus fees 15000. Each student should have to pay a caution deposit of 4000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our Telangana government offers scholarships based on the caste and rank secured in eamcet engineering exam. For students who got state level rank less than 10000 are need not pay any fees. For OC students they have to pay the full fee. For BC students government provides 35000 each year. For SC students, the government will pay the full fee.
Campus Life
Our college is good at sports. Students have competed at the national level and state level. We people are good at football, cricket, badminton, cycling. College labs do not have the modern infrastructure and sometimes we need not do our experiments because the machines are not a good condition.
Alumni/Alumna
Once a year, we will have get-togethers and our alumni raise funds to give good facilities and meet our needs. Of course, they are helpful and we can't directly ask them to provide funds. We often contact our alumni.
Admission
Telangana state conduct eamcet exam and it's a state-level exam. If we qualify in that we can choose engineering colleges across Telangana depending on our rank. So I chose kakatiya institute of technology and science.
Faculty
Our faculty sometimes follow the college rules and they forget the relationship between a student and professor. Of course, we can grab tremendous knowledge from our faculty but the culture we adopted in the college is different from how college rules are made.
