NITR REVIEW

I have both positive and negative remarks about my institute. Positives-It has good environment and it is nice place to live. More encouragement is provided in clubs and training and placement cell take responsibility of placements and internships. Negatives-There is scope for some more developement and food provided in hostels need to be improved.

First and second semester courses are common for all first year students. From second year on wards main stream starts.Our campus has good curriculum and it also offers minor degrees for merits. For every semester 2 exams will be held.One is mid sem and other is end sem. Mid sem has been 30% weightage and end has 50% and remaining 20% is for teachers assessment.

Our Institute has training and placement cell.It takes total responsability for the placement of students and training committe takes care of improving soft skills.Our campus provides internship and the detalis about that can be seen in nitrkl.ac.in

Our college has mainly 4 events. 1.Innovision -Techinical fest, It mainly focuses on technology and innovations.Many funny games and pro shows are coducted in this. 2.NITRUSTAV-Cultural fest, Many cultural events takes place 3.Vriddhi-Sports fest, Sport events are held 4. Cosmopolitan -Multi ethinic fest

Fee structure is like little bit of expensive and fee wavier is applicable for students who have less income and fee waiver is also applicable for minority categories.Finally i can say that the fee is more expensive than expected

Student loan is given by a bank situated in our Campus. There is fee waiver for the students who cannot offered the expenses.Fee is waived according to income and student catogery. It also provides medical benefits.

There are good facilities for sports.They provide required items for sports and they encourage talented and send them to other places for competitions.While coming to labs the equipment are a bit older and they are to be updated and extra curricular activities are good and they provide funds for clubs.

Hostel infrastructure is good and there is scope for development.There are good facilities like gym, music room, tv room, study room,basket ball Court, shuttle court and table tennis. But the quality of food is not upto expectations.

Senior students helps us in choosing our ways.Alumni are helpful as they provide scholarship for the needy and they also shares their thoughts in the filed which they are working. There is a facebook group with alumnis

After intermediate a exam will be conducted in India. Exam is conducted by NTA and it is called as JEE mains. Ranking will be given according to score gained. Counseling will be conducted through JOSAA and it goes through 7 rounds.

Faculty in our college are good but everyone is not upto the mark. Some faculty take care of students and makes them to understand fundamental concepts and every faculty are highly qualified. I can surely say that faculty of my department is excellent.
