Remarks

The college administration is overwhelmingly good and the faculties are also responsible for delivering good results every now and then. It is very good. Some negativity is that they don't have an auditorium.

Course Curriculum Overview

Very Good Structure as per latest Curriculum named CBCS. Part of Delhi University it follows a very good curriculum, detailed plan and the exams are conducted semester wise for the whole university. The curriculum is taught in a very nice way with mix of theories and practical.

Placement Experience

The placement and job opportunities are very good. Big MNCs approach the college and give good CTC to applicants aswell. Internship is also provided by the cell to the students and stipend for it varies from Free to 10000 I suppose.

College Events

There are many Fests that are conducted by various departments of the college and there is an annual fest of college of also which brings us to a big party and chief guests, speakers are invited. It is very good experience.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible very feasible. Just around below 10000 for a year is way cheap. No worries regarding it. Very good. Awesome and scholarship for that also is provided by many Organisations so a student can take it.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know specifically but i have heard from people regarding it. I am really not sure about it because i didn't ask or enquire in the premises of my college. But scholarship would be surely given by college and university.

Campus Life

This is very good. There are many computer labs ,sports complex housing Table tennis carrom chess etc. Cricket ground , basketball ground , football ground also form part of the college. The team of SBSC represents in various competitions.

Alumni/Alumna

They are quite helpful. I still remember my first day of college and many seniors helped me. Some even approached me seeing my blank face and helped and told me the whole procedure to be followed. So it was quite a good experience.

Admission

Passed the CutOff and got admission in the college. It was very high cut off. I had to bring my documents and get it verify in the campus and submit it so that I get admission and they can keep it for future references.

Best faculties for Commerce in the college. The teachers who are part of the Commerce Department are really good and the college is famous for it. Other department such as Economics and Geography are also very good.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
