College Review

I have an overall positive remark for my college, It is good for the one seeking knowledge, It can sometimes be harsh but you realize it later on that it was only for you benefits. I have spent a good amount of time here and I surely don't regret coming to this college.

The course here is quite advanced and considers the present scenario of the field. Exams structure is as follow Two midterms exam only one is compulsory, both are of 30 marks each if you pass in exam one you don't need to appear for the second exam, If you fail in the first exam it is compulsory to appear for the second exam. The passing marks criteria are 12 out of 30. The exam is taken at approximately one and a half month intervals. The final exam is at the end of the semester, It is of 70 marks and passing marks criteria are 23 out of 70. If you fail in this exam you get a backlog in that particular subject and you need to clear it during your next semester.

Placement opportunities are good over here, the college offers options for technical job opportunities as well as non-technical opportunities. No, our college does not provide any internship opportunities, you have to do it on your own if you wish to do an internship.

All regional, as well as national festivals, are celebrated with great enthusiasm. All kind of religions festivals is celebrated and enjoyed together. Recently the Navratri festival was celebrated, we all played Garba together along with friends and faculties.

Fees structure is feasible keeping in mind the facilities the college provides. The fees is to be paid per semester and is to be paid at the start of each semester, late fees deposit may result in penalty.

I have not availed any scholarship or loan facility available here. Here we have a loan and scholarship facilities as per college guidelines I do not have much knowledge about it as I have not opted for any of it.

There is a large number of extracurricular activities happening over here, such as English learning, documentary shows and much more. The labs here are very good having a large number of types of equipment required to carry out any need experiments respective to their fields.

Yes, I have opted for the hostel. The hostel infrastructure is very well built, also we have facilities like gym, TV rooms, and sports grounds. Also an arrangement is made for movie night every Saturday night at the Amphitheater.

No, much interactions with alumni students, they sometimes come to give expert advice. Seniors here are of great help and absolutely no ragging is done here, senior help in every possible manner from assignments to the project work and much more.

I came to know about the college from a friend. I visited the college and got a positive review of it from friends, then I decided to take admission in this college. Then I came here with my parents for the admission process.

Here we have a family of around 450+ faculties, In my respective department, there are around 20 faculties. The faculties are nice as a person and also have some good knowledge of their respective fields. We have a head of the department that operates below the dean of the college, A class coordinator for each class that handles all the class activities, attendance criteria, etc. We also have a mentor for each individual student which helps the student mentally, emotionally or in any required manner.
