Remarks
There are lots of positive response, I don't think we have negative impact on our college. This is my final year, I feel so bad to leave such a great college where they taught me to vision my future and to embrace the failure.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have an excellent course curriculum, we also have the CBCS system where we can just learn additional subject and then drop them in final year and concentrate on internships and projects. The course curriculum has been revised every 3 or 4 years. They have been updating the technology and society wise. Eg: From this year they have included an extra chapters on electric vehicles as they are the future.
Placement Experience
I feel we have the best placement opportunities among the other colleges. Beginning from Amazon till Bajaj we have all sectors of companies grabbing our students. Its just the start of final year and almost all my friends are placed.
College Events
We have a lots of events in our college, starting from Intrams, Shrishti, Nebula and so on. We even have each flagship event for each club like TedX and E-Next. The students are working on leadership skills when it comes to events. Because every work starting from finding sponsors till requesting cheif guest. It helps us a lot in organising events
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. It depends on the quota. In case of merit students it is feasible and in case of self supporting its a little more and management quota its a bit more. Hostel fees is also feasible including mess fees
Fees and Financial Aid
Um. There is a scholarship known as Shivnadar scholarship - he is our alumus and he sponsors for one student every year. I am not sure if that still prevails. The Alumni association provides a lot of funds for students
Campus Life
Yes i have to say this , there is a sport named sepak takraw and in the entire nation only we play and teach that sport. The ball is been bought from Finland everytime. One will know how much we dedicate to sports. We conduct marathon every year which involves even staffs.
Alumni/Alumna
Oh yes ! My Dad is a proud Alumnus of PSGCT. And most of my senior alumni are very helpful. We have our alumni get-togethers even in New Jersey, thats the bond we share. Like last week we had a national competition conducted by an industry, our senior suggested to conduct in our college and introduced our students and finally we won
Admission
I went through counselling process in Chennai. And then there will be a many colleges based on the cut off mark received from which I selected PSG College of Technology and then the college reopened after a couple of weeks
Faculty
The faculties teach and give the best ! The faculties are even given feedback and rated every semester. Most of the faculties are doctorates and others are Post-graduates. They even undergo many workshops and exhibitions to keep them updated to the latest technology.
