Internships Opportunities

yes. we get internship opportunities from the college and stipend is paid to us. they were informative. Internships are professional apprenticeship experiences that give students the opportunity to gain practical experience in a professional environment. It is the opportunity for a student to take what she has learned in the classroom and apply it in the real world. Prior to the college years, many young people have part-time jobs like babysitting or yard work, but few have exposure to the professional office environment. The internship is the first opportunity to know what it is like to work in an office, to learn how to dress and perform in a professional manner, and to apply professional skills and talents. It is a chance to develop communication and interpersonal skills, to build your knowledge base about a specific field, and to practice a higher level of responsibility and confidence. There are clear advantages to having an internship under your belt, particularly in todays highly competitive job market. Completing an internship not only bolsters your resume, but allows you to acquire essential professional skills that will help you succeed in your career; gives you stronger credibility in a job interview; sets you apart from other applicants when it is time to secure a job; and gives you the opportunity to network and make useful professional connections.

Campus Life

4.5

One of the greatest strengths of ANDC is the volume and scale of genuine and exciting research activities carried out by its faculty members since last one decade. The enthusiasm and hard work of the faculty and an exemplary support of the college administration has created a culture that displays seam-less integration of teaching and research. The quality of research work done by the faculty is authenticated by a large number of publications in peer reviewed national and international journals. Bringing research in to the classroom is one of the vision of the college. We are promoting active participation of students in research projects as a major co-curricular activity since past many years. Students and the faculty share an adventure of discovery and the laboratories are abuzz with research programs through the year. A number of research papers have been co-authored by the undergraduate students as well.Research projects not only keep the faculty members updated with the advancements being made in the world of science, the research grants help in improvising the infrastructure and in the development of state of the art laboratories. The college has a total of eight research laboratories designed to perform cutting edge scientific research. These include:Biomedical Science Project Laboratory Chemistry Project LaboratoryCiliate Biology LaboratoryCluster LaboratoryInorganic Chemistry Research LaboratoryInsect Pest & Vector LaboratoryInstrumentation Laboratory (Physical Sciences)Microbial Technology LaboratoryIn recognition of the potential of the faculty at ANDC to conduct independent research, five teachers have been recognised as PhD supervisors by the University of Delhi. Currently, five research scholars are carrying out doctoral program in the college and one student has already been awarded the doctoral degree. The research projects in the college are funded by the grants received by teachers from external funding agencies such as DBT, DST, CSIR, MOEF, ICMR. Thus far, research grant of about Rs. 25 million has been received. Fourteen projects have been completed and five new projects were sanctioned recently.

no hostel and mess. In terms of meeting new people, its easier in college than, say, after switching to a new school in eighth grade. Every college first year is new to the school, so its a lot less awkward to introduce yourself. If you live in a dorm, i

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.
