Mithibai College

Positives- Lots of positives like good infrastructure, I centrally air conditioned college, Good Food, Good Locality, Professional Teachers, good Social Life, Good Campus Negatives- The only Negative I can think of is we had to attend lectures Compulsorily

Course curriculumn when I was studying they simply used to follow the Mumbai University in every way. The year I left was the the year in which my college turned autonomous. Now they have their own books, portions etc

As far as I can recollect my college used to have a placement cell in place. They used to provide jobs as well as internships as per individuals requirement. Since I have never come in contact of such cell I have no idea about the Salary or Stipend they offer

There are many events celebrated in my college. The biggest one being Kshitij, organised annually, generally in December. Kshitij is generally a 4 day fest with pronytes on 3 Nights. They also organise various economic fests in order to educate the students in a unique way

The fee structure when i was a student was very very feasible considering the Infrastructure of the college. However the fees might have gone up as it has turned autonomous from the year 2018-19. I remeber for TYBcom it was Rs 5000 odd.

I have no knowledge of any scholarships or loan facility offered by Mithibai college. Besides I don't think there was a need to offer loan facilities in the first place as the fees charged by our college was very minimal

There are science labs and opportunities to enroll in many sports like carrom, chess, Table Tennis even outdoor sports like Badminton, Basketball, Football, Cricket, Lawn Tennis. There are tryouts if you want to get in to your college team.

I don't think mithibai college offers hostel facility. Or atleast in my gears there was no hostel facility available to travelling students. The students used to rent an apartment or as PG. Some of my friends used to stay at their relative's place

Personally, I am not aware of any such alumni networks. I am not in contact with any of my seniors for now. But when I was a student, the seniors were of a great help to me in every way. i.e academically or otherwise

After Passing 10th Standard with 86.91% I applied in Mithibai college. It was difficult to go ahead in open category since the very high number of students applied for the admission amd also considering the level of college. So I applied with Gujrati Minority Quota and my name appeared in the second merit list. Paid the fees and secured the admission

Each and every faculty in my college was competitive. When they teach one cam easily say that they have tremendous amoumt of knowledge on the subject. They were alsp very polite and easy to talk to. I dont remember any of my unsolved doubts
