Course Curriculum Overview
Bsc. Biotechnology is an unique course. I am liking it a lot. Getting to know new stuffs in vast variety of subjects. We have semester system here(6months). Each sem has 2 internal examinations of 30marks and a final university exam of 70marks.
Placement Experience
After BSc we have Msc programs and PhD. The students may apply for jobs before that too. The college doesn't provide internships of its own but we have the option of going for internships if we want.
College Events
Various events like Onam, Diwali, Holi, Laxmi and Saraswati Puja are celebrated. Apart from that we have cultural events and sports day which are quite fun. Other different colleges under the university also comes up with different events foe halloween and others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
No, the fees is not expensive and its quite feasible. Its around 6lacs for 3 years, this also includes mess and hostel facilities. The fees increases every year but it won't become expensive.
Admission
I applied for this course through online application. I had to mention all my details including my 12th and 10th grade examination marks, current address,etc. Its first come first serve basis actually. So I filled my form as soon as it was out.
Faculty
All the faculty members are really nice and teach their topics quite well. We have practicals too. We get to learn new subjects each semester and its fun. Some of the teachers are a little strict but thats all ok cuz at the end of the day they teach really well.
