Remarks
Its way too old as in culture and studies techniques and in facilities as compared to NITs/IITs in India or any private college security should be more strong .Teachers are less friendly anf can't able to share their knowledge properly with students effectively.Faculties and education style are from an old era.
Course Curriculum Overview
Its now an autonomous college ,In my time it comes under BPUT University and their exams are held according to bput exam structure.Which was in 4 yr you have to appear 8 semester exams .Both subjective & Lab.
Placement Experience
Most of the placement was in IT department .Less in other departments and nearly equal to none in civil ,electrical engineering department for their core companies.IT companies used to take all branch students ,wheather they are from core.
College Events
Techfest ,Branch fest. Horizon is the main fest in our college.Many students and delicate comes from another college and even from other States.There are many technical events and non- technical and fun events happens in Horizon . Also cultural programme for all like Dj night,rock show
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was very feasible in recent days .Its varingly increased from last 3-4 years .IT branches are expensive than Core branches.the fee used to more cheaper than some private colleges in our state.
Fees and Financial Aid
We don't get any scholarships from college but from state government.Scholaships varries for different branches and different minorities.lLikes prerana scholarships for SC/ST students .And special TFW students get concessions in their fees.
Campus Life
Labs are good enough for a student and all the machines and apparatus are also available but the Little needs or you can say safety needs are not taken care of (just likes gloves, helmet . These minor details you will be following as an engineer .
Hostel Facilities
Compared from old and new hostels the hostel infrastructure varries.New hostel are way good.But the management doesn't take responsibility properly.Facilities are poor. Fooding isn't good enough to eat.
Alumni/Alumna
Average in this case.I can't say for others but there is no actively events or G2G for college alunini or any social events happening in college or in outer place.All i conneced to senior and alunini through personal social accounts.
Admission
I appeared an entrance exam (OJEE),Then in the counseling i had to choose some preferred college and their respective branches.And according to my rank i got IGIT,sarang civil engineering a course of 4yr.
Faculty
To be honest there are some faculties which were dedicated to their job and others were just their for the job & salary .There are some highly qualified teachers are in our college but i think they are getting old and they can't able to share their knowledge as they were sharing in past years.
