Bsc.Mathematics(hons) is one of best course offered by delhi university.syllabus is mainly focused on analytical parts and both practical and theoretical exam are there. Exam system is CBCS system. Choice Based Credit System (CBCS): The CBCS provides choice for students to select from the prescribed courses (core, elective or minor or soft skill courses). Course: Usually referred to, as 'papers' is a component of a programme. . Credit: A unit by which the course work is measured.

Yes,there are so many internship opportunities and college provides a effective placement cell. DIS offers a variety of internship opportunities in its various departments. An internship at DIS offers a concrete work experience, high levels of responsibility, active project development, opportunity to travel in Europe, and a chance to live and work in Copenhagen for one year. A DIS intern receives an adequate stipend making it possible to cover living expenses. An internship at DIS is a great way to start an international career, become an integrated part of a multicultural workplace, and receive hands-on experience in a field you are looking to pursue in your future career.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Moderate fee structure.Fee structure of du is affordable. A single year fee of any college is ~20k for every course. As most of colleges run on govt expenditures so fee is quite affordable. But, living here is somewhat expensive.

Hostel infrastructure and facilities are quite impressive. All rooms clean and neat. No worries of food. No problems of water. Everything is upto the demands of students. Separate toilets are there in every room shared by 2 students

Admission

I applied for delhi university,and When the cutoff list was out I reached campus I took admission in ramjas which is matching with my marks.The admission in DU is done on the basis of entrance test and merit. The merit based admission is done on the basis of the qualifying exam, for which 7 to 8 cut offs are released. Entrance exam for Delhi University UG and PG admission is held by National Testing Agency. The diversity of academic programmes are relected in the range of faculties spanning, but not limited to Arts, Commerce and Business Studies, Education, Law, Management Studies, Mathematical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Music and Fine Arts, Science, Social Sciences, Technology and Open Learning.

placements cells were little challenging . there were really less near to zero placement were there .so thats a problem you have to go for higher studies to get a good job and financial stability mostly students do this only.

Maitreyi college's BSc life sciences is a three year course and admits almost 130 students . The average package is INR3.40 LAKHS but is very difficult for the students to get placed under this course

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements provided by the college in their 3rd year, while they can pursue internship offered by the college in previous years. Average sized companies visited the campus with lots of students being placed for jobs. The highest package I am not aware of but lowest was of around 300000 pa. I plan to pursue masters after my graduation degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
