Nist is an educational institute while aims at providing us with the capabilities required in the global work place the ethics taught in this college are highly recommended.however there are some negatives in the institute the 100 min class are highly hectic and 4 assignments for a semester are too much however there are meetings going on to remove these problems and probably they will be removed by the end of this year.

Course curriculum is very hectic in the first year however it becomes easier later.the curriculum consists of 50-100 min classes with extensive coverage of the particular course.The exam structure include 2 class test one surprise test 4 quiz test carrying a total weightage of 100 marksand there is a final semester exam each year for 4 years.

The placement and job opportunities in nist is one of the major aspect especially for the cs-it guys almost 60-70 % of the batch are placed.core branches also get placed in reknown companies such as l&t etc.

Our college has many events however the major 2 events yearly are sankalp and waves.Sankalp is a technical extravaganza nearly 20 different clubs in the college who organise more than 50 events only during sankalp other events whole year.waves is a sports extravaganza many intercollege tournaments take place during waves including cultural nights.

Feasible Nist charges a yearly charge of rs1,19,000 for 2 semesters respectively for next 3 years. Compared to the amount of effort in education they provide the fee structure is feasible.An extra charge of 7000 may be included if a student want the books for that year.

The college award numerous scholarship facilities for the students such as economic hardship scholarship,book grant scholarship,apart from these scholarship many scholarship on funded by the teachers are also there

Extracurricular activities are highly supported in the college there are various sports including basketball,cricket, volleyball, football,tennis, watersports including rafting etc apart from these the college conducts a yearly national Himalayan trek at several hills at the himalayas.

The hostel infrastructure is as great as the infrastructure of the college campus the hostel infrastructure constists of 2 boys hostel namely hall of residence 1 and hall of residence 2 and 1 girls hostel the hostel has all the basic facilities required for students there are also single rooms for meritious students who can opt for the same

Seniors are highly helpfull in education as well as sports they behave as a big brother or sister. They help in various college related problems.the alumnis are highly helpfull they too give advice regarding our future they are highly motivating

I got my admission with the help of my rank in the jee mains exam. The type of branch completely depends upon the student . For admission purposes there is a personal interview with the administration members they will completely cooperate with the student and make you understand the fee structure thoroughly.

The faculty at nist are highly knowledgeable and can make u understand with ease.They are highly helpfull and give liberty to make our doubts clear any time whether through face to face interaction during class hours or video conferencing beyond the class hours.
