The college is great for studying and festivals. There's a great faculty and library too. Canteen is average. The college offers a numerous courses too.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum needs to be updated and the exam structure should be based on practical approach and not just bookish knowledge. The curriculum must have better subjects and better exam methods so that the students get in depth knowledge of what they're studying.
Placement Experience
I didn't opt for campus placement as I pursued Chartered accountancy. I have no idea about it as my friends didn't opt for campus placements as well as we all got into so other degree and continued studying.
College Events
There are two fests every year in the SIES college. The name of the fests are Disha and Fantasies. Disha is about knowledge gaining and technical stuff. Fantasies is about various events, sports and games
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is great as the college is aided by south Indian society as the same goes South Indian Education Society (S.I.E.S.). The refund of deposits for library fees is also provided at the end of the year.
Fees and Financial Aid
I had not availed any such facility but for backward class people there is a scheme of part payment of fees.
Campus Life
Inter college sports competition and extracurricular activities like dance and other art forms were encouraged and the college actively participates in all of them.
Alumni/Alumna
I am not in much contact with seniors and alumni students. So I can't really comment on that.
Admission
First I had to select top ten colleges I wanted to get into. After a few days, a merit list is issued by the colleges. I got at SIES college so I secured my admission. Later after the third list, I confirmed my admission .
Faculty
The junior college faculty was average. They used to teach well but didn't mix with the students deeply as required. The degree college faculty is great, we used to not bunk lectures where as students generally do that.
