Not so popular but a very good college

Positives are there are no scene of ragging , the teachers and faculty members are very helpful, the college has all the required equipments required by different branches of Engineering. Negative remark is only about the place it is situated in, the college is very close to an garbage dumping land which makes the entire palce look dirty.

There are many courses to choose from for B.Tech there are CSE,ECE,EE,IT,ME,CE and there are also course like BCA,Deploma etc. Most popular and job yielding courses are CSE, IT,ECE. Exam are taken twice a year and one exam for each semester.There are 8 semester for B.Tech and each semester lasts for 6 months.

Yes our college provides internships but there are some criteria(good or average marks per semester) required to be fulfilled to get the internship.There are plenty job opportunities and many students gets placed in different companies but most of those companies are IT based and prefer students from CSE IT ECE, companies for core sectors also comes but they are very few and very few students get place in those companies(the exams are much harder).

There are many events throughout the year, technical feast and cultural feast are the main ones. Technical feast consist of many competitions related to tech. like coding, robowars etc and cultural fest consist of singing, dancing competition etc.

The fees structure is more or less feasible its about 40-46k per semester which is much friendly than some colleges who charge like 50-60k per semester. There are no extra cost associated if the semester fees is paid on time.

Yes our college offers scholarship like merit cum means Scholarship, kanyashree Scholarship .The college also helds scholarships examinations and depending upon rank you can get a scholarship. The college also peovides educational loans.

There are many college tournaments and our college also participants in different inter-college football and cricket tournaments. The college also has a ground which is not very big at the time because of some construction going on but it will be made bigger in the near future.

The alumni network and seniors are very good actually better than most colleges there are zero cases of ragging and all. Frankly speaking the seniors try not to in trouble or in any dispute with juniors because the teachers always help the juniors or freshers more and their complaints are always heard.

Like all other engineering colleges, admission is done with respect to our rank in entrance examination (WBJEE, JEE). I got alloted to this collge through by WBJEE rank. Main criteria for getting admission are : average rank will do and above 60% in class 12 examination.

Faculty members are very nice and helping. There are different faculty members in different branches according to their subjects of interests.Each branch consists of one HOD and other teachers. They are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and really help students.
