Strength in Commerce

Commerce is strength of our college. Our college took the 9th and 8th rank in H.S. results continuously for two consecutive years both from Commerce so i will request all the nearby students not to go far to Higher study if you a economically backward, our college really offers good commerce course.

Our college offers their courses in 3 streams Science,Arts and Commerce. Higher secondary degree and Bachelor's degree and distance master's degree under Dibrugarh University. Exam structure in one final exam for two years in Higher secondary and a six semester system i.e. two semester per year for a total of 3 yrs. Science dept. Of our college is not under government.

No, our college doesn't offer direct placement in jobs or is directly link with any of job companies but it definitely makes quality products that students can do something in their life. I sometimes feel scared for future but I am now educated enough to stand on my legs.

Our college organises a lots of seminars meeting and student benefitted programs, at least 3 in a month and more in dept. Overall. Busy college in terms of programs like college week, inter college football etc sports.

Its feasible, College also offers free admission to those who secure good marks in H.S. and matriculation and also for below poverty line students. And sometimes also from means basis principal offers free admission.

Scholarship are offer by our college are under UGC schemes. Further principal offers some scholarship and local MLA also helps us economically and student union like AASU helps a lots of students. I applied for Ishan Udaya scholarship under UGC taking time but It will come soon.

Our college has many labs, from 2 computer labs, one language lab, one smart room, conference hall, individual science labs and an education lab. Sports offered by our college are many but the problem is that due to backward area there are less participants.

Hostel is good, both girls and boys hostel is available. 75 boys and 50 girls, both hostel has water problem but has generator. Both hostel has discipline sessions to develop positive attitude and healthy mind.

Alumni students comes to meet only to teachers some good alumni interacts with present students but most of them don't. They mostly connect with the help of phones through Social media. Teachers gives exam of some good alumni but they never met us.

This college also offers higher secondary degree. So my percentage was good enough to get direct admission in this college. Our college offers direct admission to those who secure 55% of marks in H.S.

Faculty is really amazing even private teachers of science dept also teaches awesome. I personally acquired lots of benefits and knowledge from this college. Really feels luck to be part of this college.
