Remarks
The chairman of this college is involved in Delhi government politics. He spends most of his time in making up his political and social image, which badly affects the growth of this college, where a fraction of students exists who want to excel in their careers. The other trustees are also involved in political activities and money making. They grant excess admissions to the college, thus limiting resources for every student.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is outdated. The course curriculum does not focus at improving practical skills. The exam structure is divided into two parts. First is the internal exam of 25 marks and second is the external exam of 75 marks. This applies to both theory and practical exams.
Placement Experience
No internship opportunities are provided to the students which is expected atleast after the third year. Coming to job placements, companies do visit the campus but very few of them are respective of the degree you are pursuing. Most of the companies are mass recruiters like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro.
College Events
College fest happens every year which is completely cringe event, college doesn't invest much in this event. Which is why, very few participants and audience are there. Farewell is another event, when only all the students report to the college. Others include college useless political events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For all selected students: the fees is around 1 lakh per year, the college provides minimal support to poor families. Still most of the students are able to afford it. For MQ students, they have to deposit extra money that is more than 10 lacs depending upon the branch they choose.
Fees and Financial Aid
No loan facility is offered in my knowledge by the college. The only scholarship I ever heard of is that they award the top three academic performers each year with Rs. 5000 or less. Also few technical societies conduct some activities once in a year or two that awards students with little cash prizes or goodies.
Campus Life
The college fest includes cultural and sports activities. This is the only time in the year when one can feel the presence of sports in the college campus. The cultural activities includes very less participations from outsiders, still it's good. There is one ground common to all the sports, also separately a badminton and basketball court is there. The physics, chemistry labs are good and knowledgeful. All other labs aren't helpful to improve much knowledge.
Alumni/Alumna
Most of the students in this college belong to business class families. They just take admission for the sake of getting a degree. So, a very small network of alumnis exist which can guide the students for successful career and available opportunities. Senior junior interaction is limited to joining different college societies.
Admission
IPUCET is the exam for Guru Gobind Singh University affiliated colleges. After the exam, different colleges depending upon the performance , are being open to the students. MAIT is among the top 3 colleges of GGSIPU. This college takes a lot of admissions through exam and management quota.
Faculty
The faculty at this college is popular for being rude to students. Very few of the teachers are cooperative and knowledgeable to guide the students. Faculty focuses more on college political activities than students.
