Very unique B.Tech Stream after 12th

Passing marks is 50%. That is quite tough and there are no negative points. The stream is bio based stream though it is an engineering course. The faculties are good, the placement is near about 100% in colleges.

Course curriculum is very good, mainly semester based exams total there is 8 semesters in 4 years course. In every semester there are 1 internal 1 external and 1 practical exams we have to appear, internal 30 marks, external 50 marks and practical 20 marks total there is 100 marks. The passing marks is 50% that means he/she have to get minium 40/80 in internal+external nd 10/20 in practical total 50/100 to pass in the exams.

There is a huge chances of job and placements in our college as it is only college in west bengal in dairy sciences, it is not like other streams like mechanica engg. Or electrical engg. There is huge competition but in dairy technology u have to compete only ur classmates in west bengal and it is agribased stream in banking jobs there is lesser cut off marks in bank exams. Yes college provides 3 internship, end of 1st year Procurement Training(1 month) in famous dairies of West Bengal , In ending of 2nd year Production Training(1 month) in famous Dairies of West Bengal and in first 6month of 4th or final year the IN PLANT TRAINING or Internship is done in various Dairies all over india (AMUL, MOTHER DAIRY, NESTLE, ITC, PRAVAT DAIRY, HERITAGE DAIRY, HATSON, SIKKIM DAIRY, METRO DAIRY, GMD, TETRA PAK, PARLE AGRO etc.)

There are so many events those celebrate in our college like Orientation Programme, Fresher's Party, Milk Day Celebration, Hostel Premier League, Hall Day, Viswakarma Puja, Saraswati Puja, College fest, Night Cricket, University Birthday, Cultural and Sports meet, Inter-Year football Tournament, Inter-Year Cricket Tournament, Educational Tour, Seminars, College Reunion (Seniors come and they teach us and give us advices about the industries, placements).

As it is a government College fees structure is very low, in time of Admission ?12000 have to be paid, after that in every semester as a tuition fees 6000(if hosteler) 3000(if day scholar) is taken. And for hostelers it charged 1500 for fooding and the lodging is free absolutely.

There are scholarship for the students. 1. Canteen Subsidy (for everybody) 2. Summer Internship Scholarship (For everybody) 3. Every Topper get scholarship for getting rank every year 4. Other scholarship for various online site.

There is huge chances of Extracurricular Activities to represent west bengal in front of all over india in AGRI UNIFEST. There are 9 labs which are Ac Labs in every Department, there are so many sports events like Cricket and football, Indoor games.

Hostel is very good and great place. The natural beauty and ambiance of the hostel is great. In hostel 2/3 students share one room, and there are total 90 rooms in hostel, no body have to share rooms with senior or juniors. In hostel there is common room, Tv, Carram Boads, Out Door games playing Space Canteen at a cheap rate.Water Supply and Electric Supply is 24×7 .

Alumni and seniors are the pillars of the college, they come in reunion every year, they teach us and give advice about industries, placement. They give advice on how to get abroad jobs, how to get government jobs etc.

I appeared West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination, I got a rank of 20628 then I filled choices, this was the 63rd choice. (B.Tech Dairy Technology in West Bengal University Of Animal And Fishery Sciences.) Then there was choices upgradation process done, then I went to Kolkata at Belgachia at college then documents verification was done then I took admission in my college.

The faculties of our colleges are most of our Alumnis, as this is the only college of dairy technology in west bengal, so they really support the students in studies as well as every matter like a senior, they always teach good things and they always teach how to react in industries when we would be placed.
