Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Its good to be honest. At VIT-AP, all programmes have been carefully designed with focus on curricular and co-curricular activities, industry requirements, and career. The emphasis is on autonomous learning to enable the students chart their own course. This is achieved through a fully flexible credit system in which students select courses, faculty, and timings to befit their interests and aspirations. The pedagogy and design of curriculum for various programmes was carried out with valuable inputs from industry and academic experts. Each programme is managed by experienced and caring faculty members who prepare students for a bright career, higher studies and research. A unique mentoring scheme is in place at our institute, where, a faculty member is assigned to a group of students as a mentor. The mentor not only helps a student in making informed decisions about his academic progress, but also acts as a local guardian. The students at VIT-AP are part of a digitised campus with e-wallet, Wifi, digital library, smart classrooms and much more. At present, VIT-AP offers the following programmes for students

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes they do provide internships. But not a single batch has passed out yet in VIT-AP. PAT stands for Placement and Training for the students. As our students are in the second year, PAT’s main focus is on providing guest lectures by Corporate people and facilitating the student’s for Internships. These activities make the students future ready for the placements.

College Events

0.5

Apart from academics, students are involved in a culture of experiencing life through various events on campus. They get to participate in popular weekly student community programmes, be a part of the music band or the dance troupe or any other that interests them. Moreover, every year the institute has a mega cultural and technical event which includes popular celebrities and accomplished people from various fields wherein students are also provided a platform to showcase and develop their skills and talents.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Yes i am a hosteler. The VIT-AP hostels are highly secure and well guarded. Only VITians & VIT authorized personnel are allowed inside. We aspire to make the hostel a ‘home away from home. Each hostel room is equipped with a cot, chair, study table and cupboard. Resident wardens are available 24×7. Provision stores are located in the hostel where students can buy essentials such as mattresses, pillows, buckets, mugs, locks, stationeries, books, soaps. Both AC and Non-AC rooms are available. The type of room is allocated on the first-come first serve basis and availability once the hostel fee is paid in full.

Admission

First we have to write VITEEE Exam and based on the rank list, candidates are called for course registration. It fully ethical and there are limited seats for all the course. It depends on the stream you want to pursue and its availability. As you have not mention any stream, but in general YES, you can get a seat in VIT University.

Reviewed on Nov 2, 2024(Enrolled 2021)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chose mechanical (robotics). As they euipped with new equipment's of robotics I have inspired a lot and chose to go with this course. This course helps to understand the mechanical engineering an also robotics. It helps us to understand about the mechanism in hardware. It helps to understand about robot infrastructure and about drones. For this course if there is more depth in robotics subjects than it can better. The frequency and timing is good as they maintain a certain period of time gap between the exams and the difficulty level is also good. If studied for a week we can understand up to some level and have a chance to pass the exams.
