Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum could've been much better. Exam structure is not so good. Exam timing is not so proper. Semester syllabus differs from other universities. But the University is quite famous around here due to its other departments.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are good but placements is quite average. You can get a average package of 3.5 lpa. You can apply for internships. The stipend money for internships are also available given by TEQIP. But you have to go other instituitions for attending internships.

Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very feasible, not so high in price. Everybody can afford it. Just around 3700 per semester. While other instituitions are taking 20-40k per semester. Since it is State University, fees are quite low.
Campus Life
In terms of Lab facilities, it's very good. But the college doesn't focus any amount on sports. Students participates and organised sports tournaments in their own interests.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities and infrastructure is average and very feasible.Only around 1800 per year they are taking to live in a University of Calcutta Hostel. But Hostels are quite in a distance to your college.
Admission
You have to score good in wbjee exam to secure a proper rank to get any stream for this college. After you get the results of wbjee a date will be announced by the University (if you are qualified for this college) to submot all your documents regarding admissions.
Faculty
Average. Some Faculties are very good. Some are average. But maximum no. of faculties are not so good. In a semester you can Complete 2 subjects properly but can't complete all subjects due to their poor and bad faculties.
