There is 2km distance from hostel to the college and the road goes through major instituitions like sree chithra thirunal institute ,achuthamenon research centre, regional cancer centre apart from the buildings of the medical college hospital. The improvement of the roads can lead to a great improvement for the college

The mbbs course is very vast and it can be completed in a minimum of 5.5 years which includes 1 year of house surgency . What i am going through we have 1year of first mbbs which is purely non clinical and the remaining years are completed through clinical and para clinical postings. The syllabus was changed from the year 2019.

Yes there is a year of compulsary house surgency after completing the final year. This intership is the phase where we learn everything and without it a doctor won't be complete. We go through all the departments and we practise under all the major professors in this time gap

Here every year a union is formulated and they are given the responsibility of conducting various programmes in the respective academic year. The various events include the college arts and sports fest various celebration like onam, holi, valentines day, diwali , Christmas and so on

There is an annual fee of almost 25000 for the general catrgory and for other categories there are various government scholarships. Comparing to the fee remitted from private sector medical colleges the fee structure here is feaible. Afterall we pass out with mbbs degrees

There is scholarships for remitting the college fee and also for the hostel fee. This is based on several criteria such as caste, annual income and also for the wards of militiary officials which i know of.

Here we have space for football basketball volleyball badminton tennis tabletennis khokho etc and we have a physical education department which provides all the necessary items without charging any fee

One of the major factor for opting this college is the hostel facility we have complete freedom in and around the hostel premises we are provided with clean and spacious rooms. The food given here can be said as one of the best in any college hostels in kerala

The alumini here is legendary because they have done so many things here all the major lecture halls were renowated by them to full ac setups and for the various programmes conducted here they are the major sponsors. They organize various get togethers once in a while and we are invited on every such occassions

Neet ug rankfrom which state ranklist was made and admissions were through several rounds of allotment procedures. My ranks were air 1614 and state rank (kerala) 276 and i got through the first allotment made by the state authority

The faculty here are immensly experienced and are helpful in every aspect of the course in addition to the professors the post graduates also plays major role in teaching and nurturing the future doctors
