Sanjay Sanwal's Review On Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology - [MAIT], New Delhi

I took lateral entry entrance test of Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University, G.G.S.I.P.U after receiving my diploma from Guru Nanak Dev Polytechnic rohini sector 15. My rank was 622 out of some 3500 students. I opt for this college because this is best college a diploma student can have without passing 12th class and wasting any year.

I will give 70 marks to faculty of college, some teachers are really good while some are average. My course is Computer Science, this is best course currently in B-tech. Computer Science students gets maximum placement in B-tech in our college.

In B-tech we have to do internship multiple times for computer science students, mostly students learn courses like java,android, big data etc, for this they have to pay in institutes rather than salary, though they can earn or can have salary. Also if they join any internship company for longer duration like 6 months in which they learn in first 2 months and in rest 4 months they work for company for which they get paid.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute gives great job opportunitie, many companies comes in placement of which i cant even remember all companies name. But i still giving names of some companies and number of students placed from whole campus. Microsoft 3, Samsung 3, infosys 250, accenture 450, newgen 5, ZS 5. Above details are not very accurate. But its enough to judge about placement.

In Maharaja Agrasen University, they celebrates many events like each institutes does like annual day, sports meet, dance shows, fests. There are many societies also for dance, singing, anti - ragging. Though i never heard about any trip in my 2 years experience.

Fee structure is obiously expensive. 97,250 Indian rupees for an year is total fees. It includes all exam fees, tution fees. Maharaja Agrasen University also provides boys hostel, there fees is more also around 90000 Rupees.

One of my friend is paying his fees by bank loan, there is scholarship also for top students in campus.

In college there is 0 ragging incidents/cases. We can talk with seniors easily like normal friends. So it depends on individuals, how good we are socially. If you are good in studies then probably you would make smart senior which will help you ofcourse.

Exam Structure may exhaust you, like other engineering institutes. Each year is divided in 2 semesters, In each semester, there are two sessional tests. Like unit tests in schools and final term exam.
