College is situated at outskirts of city which makes travelling cost expensive and availability of public transport is also less. There's no dynamic principal to take up the institute through some positive changes.

I selected mechanical engineering course. Our college is affiliated to VTU. Course is really interesting to the ones who are interested in manufacturing and design .There are some hand on experience on machines.Result is divided for 40 internal marks and 60 external marks(2017 CBCS). Exam are conducted each semester .External Exam is conducted for 100marks and reduced to 60 in results. Passing marks is 35.

As the present scenario engineer's have less job opportunities. Even though in such a circumstances NIE group assures placements in IT fields. Mechanical placements are really poor as the companies are less in the locality. Internship is not provided from college and students have to search for opportunities.

Our college celebrates the annual fest named IGNIET every year for a week. There will be various events conducted in it i.e bike stunts, DJ night, Fashion walk, ethnic day, funky day, holy party, various Dance forms, musical nights and much more.

Feasible for the students who come through KCET entrance exams which is around 70,520 per year (it may vary between 2000over it). For those who come under management quota it's too expensive i. e 2lakh per annum.

Vidyasiri scholarship are available for students pursuing graduation from karnataka government which offers 19k per annum for students who belongs to family having income below 2.5lakh per Annum. No scholarships are externally offered by college but it lends some price money for students who are college toppers.

Sports is too good as the college has proper grounds for football,cricket,handball and volleyball and also indoor games like table tennis, chess etc. There are also proper coaches for training. College actively participates and hosts sports events. Labs are well equipped with modern machines as college is established 10years before.

There is no alumni association as college fail to held on connection with students by hosting some alumni events. There is a plan in future to host some events and get connected so that the students who are passing out recent can gain some knowledge about competitive world from them.

I got the admission through karnataka common entrance test. You will get the seat in colleges based on your merit Ranking . If you're ranking is good you will get a good college. It requires lot of documentation verification once you're done with your results. Admission process is too lengthy. You will get a admission order after you're verification of document is done which you have to submit to respective college for admission procedures.

All our faculties are well trained ;all of them are Mtech holders. They teach the topics conceptually and put 100percent efforts to make us learn. They make us to apply our knowledge practically in the respective fields which makes the subjects even more interesting.
