Jagannath Kishore College - The one of the best college in purulia.

Positive remarks is : college is very clean , big , atmosphere is very good . Here studied is very grateful moments. Faculty good, seniors are helpful, no ragging, good hostel , overall a very good college.

Here mathematics dept is very very good. In this college Mathematics dept is one of the finest and brilliant department . Here are total 19 departments but mathematics is best . Professors are old and very experienced in their own subjects. Professors help students lot of. And in under sidhu kanho university this mathematics deptartment is best deptartment than others department. Exam are semester wise. There 6th time semester in 3 years. Every year held 2 semester. For completing graduation students should passed all semesters.

No placement here at all. But current times some placement gate for computer science and mathematics dept but I think that is not good. If you are want to jobs than after completing bsc you must have to do msc. College don't provide any type of internship. Stipend are available for brilliant a d poor students.

Here all type of national events celebrates like : rabinder jayanti, saraswati pujo ,teachers' day ,vivekanda birthday etc. Here held sports competitions like cricket, football, indoors games etc. In the every events we enjoyed so much.

Here fees are very very low, not expensive. Here are available scholarships for poor students. Any type of financial conditions students studied here with tension free,because fees are very very low. For average fees is per semester is approximately 1800/-.

I don't know about loan . But here all type government non government scholarships are available. And for hostellers ome scholarship is available that I know and you have to apply. I applied for swami vivekanda merit cums scholarship.

Labs are average in this college. Only one lab staff present currently in physics and mathematics department two in chemistry department etc. And they are very efficient for our department and they are very talented.

Sorry, I not opted in hostel, but I know hostel facilities. Here are 3 hostels , one for girls two for boys. Among two of the boys hostel one for backward class and one is general class. Hostel facilities are very good. Hostel guard are very friendly. Foods in hostel are average. I rate hostel 3.9/5 .

Alumni network is very good.reunion is organised in various departments for the alumnus. In mathematics deptartment reunion is held after 3 years .Here seniors are very very helpful a d they guide ours in proper way. The college is ragging free.

After completing 12th standard exam I apply online form of jk college. After some process merit list is announced. I am eligible in merit list .Than confirm the admission of mine I verified the documents which recurred in the college . Than I admitted in the college in particular course.

In my view here faculty is very good. In mathematics deptartment had 6 permanent professors and 4 contractual professors and 1 staff . Sri. Ganesh Chandra Gorain is current H.O.D ( head of the department) of our department. Professors are highly experienced and brilliant. They helped ours in every time to achieve ours dreams. And others professors are very experienced a d very good. In my opinion one of the best general studies college is J.K.College.
