There are a few positive and few negative things are there. Infrastructure, academics, placements are good. Faculties are also nice ready to help at any moment. Since it is located outskirt of the city it is difficult to go to town and enjoy.

The course curriculum is well organized so that it will not be more for the students also will not less. Each subject has separate labs and each lab has exams that we need to clear. There are three internal and external exams for each subject. The weightage of each internal is calculated in the final score.

Many Multi-National and small companies visit campus and recruit fourth-year students in campus drive. Major companies are Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Mindtree. Some electronics and core companies also visit the campus. Internship opportunities are fewer here.

There are mainly two events celebrated in College. Sankalp - This is the tech fest organized by the college, they organize many technical and non-technical seminars, quizzes, games, etc. Students from other colleges also visit and participate in various activities. Waves - This is an annual fest organized every year where different extra curriculum activity is organized. Both events are celebrated for three days.

There is tuition fee, transportation fee, placement fee, extra curriculum fee, etc is there in the fee structure. The fee is neither too high nor too less and it is feasible. You need to pay for transportation fee even if stay in the hostel and not using transport.

College provides different scholarships for students who are good in academics or sports. Loans facilities are also provided by the different banks to the students with a nominal rate of interest which they can pay once the course gets over.

There are different extracurricular activities organized by the college. There are many technical and non-technical clubs present in the college, where students join and enhance their skills. Differents sports like basketball, tennis, badminton court present in the college.

I opted for a hostel. There are two hostels for boys and one hostel for girls. The hostel has a different type of room like a single room, three sharing, four sharing, six sharing. You will get a single sharing room only in the 3rd and 4th years based on your GPA.

The Alumni network is really great here. Anyone can reach out to any alumni or senior students at any time and they are ready to helo in every aspect whether it's academic non-academic. Also, seniors students like it when juniors approach them.

Got 71k rank in AIEEE, then filled the Odisha counseling form and my 1st choice is NIST and got the college. The admission process is really smooth, you need to visit the campus and submit all the documents.

There are enough faculty and student counselors for each student. Faculty has wide knowledge in their subjects and teach each subject very wisely and complete the syllabus on time. Many of the professors are Ph.D. holders.
