Inspite of being some lack in academic syllabus, distance from Kolkata, this is the best college under MAKAUT. Placements are increasing in number, many companies are coming in the campuss. From IIT BOMBAY, IIT KHARAGPUR, the professors are coming to arrange workshop. In the fest many famous companies like American Tourister, JBL come to sponsor the fest. In one line, the college is not the best but it is far better than many other colleges.

I am studying in Information technology department. Tge course is almost same as Computer Science Department. You will learn many programming languages during the course. But the non deoartmental subject like physics, evs are quite boring. However the exam are scheduled in semester. There are two semesters in one academic year. And there will be internal exam also.

Yess, being the Best college under MAKAUT the students get job offer from many companies. Many companies come into the csmpuss and hire their employees. In this year TCS, CTS, GO SPEEDY, E&Y, and some other companies came to hire in the campuss. About 60% students got selected in various companies in this year till now. The average package is 4LPA. If you want to do internship in the basis of your skill, you can contact your respected departmental professors, they will guide you.

Yess we celebrate so many events throughout the whole academic year. The first event one can celebrate after entering the college is the fresher's named "plexus". Also We organise blood donation camp in the college. We organise our fest named " Espektro" in march. It us not just a event or program, it is like a festival of every kgecian.

There are some scholarship one can get during the college period like " freeship scholarship" "oasis scholarship" etc are available. Ofcourse there is some criteria to ger the scholarship. After taking admission one can go to the scholarship portal to apply the scholarship form. In freeship scholarship the fees will reduced in half or in full depending upon the criteria or condition of the applicant.

As I mentioned in previous section, we organise many events like blood donation camp, clothes distribution etc. And in case of lab facilities, the lab is obviously good with full AC. The computers are also good for work but they are very old in age. And in case of sports, in the fest we organise many games like "marathon", "mathematicos" etc.

Yes. There are 5 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. The price is also cheap compared with mess. You will get almost every facilities in the hostel like free wifi, common room, canteen, etc. There is one hostel only for 1st year students named "APC ROY HALL". after 1st year one can take any of the senior hostels. And in my view the best senior hostel is "Raja Rammohan Roy Hall". You will learn so many skills, will experienced a perfect hostel life with your seniors and batchmates. Anyway there are 2 more senior hostel "RBC HALL" &"VC", one girl's hostel named "PC" and one for Mtech students named " Type-IV". You will get the details in the college website.

The alumni network is very strong and helpful for us as we invited all of them in the fest. We arrange meeting with them, talk with them and they advise us in what way we should study so that we can stand in our own. They are obviously helpful. And if you stay in hostel you will definitely connected with alumnis.

After 12th I gave the entrance examination named WBJEE. After releasing the result of the entrance examination, I choose the colleges in which i was interested to study through online. The faculty is good. Lab facilities and the professors are good in teaching. But need to improve more in placment statistics so that the company visit in the campus in more number. Anyway the faculty of teaching are obviously good. If you have desire to learn then you will surely gain the knowledges from the teachers.
