As I am a management student i would like to first tell about management. We have the best faculty who supports us in every problem. They boost our confidence by encouraging us to take part in various activities happening in college premises or outside the college. And engineering studies are also good in the college. All faculty members are highly supportive and help every student in there problem.

We have two sessionals in every semester in which it is conpulsary for every student to attend the examination and apart from that every individual has to mantain his/her attendance above 75% otherwise college debards the student from external examination.

Yes, college do provide placements and internship oppurtinities. Many companies do pool campus placement in our college premises. I was able to get the internship on my own so i didn't have to take the help from college but there are many students who got internship through the college

Shivafest which is celebrated annually in our college. Freshers party which is given to students who join the college every year Uttarkhand Technical University Basketball Tournament was held last week in Shivalik College Of Engineering.

Fee structure is affordable for middle class family as well. My college provides various academic courses like Btech, BBA, B.Com, B.sc(Agriculture, Pharma), Diploma in pharmacy as well as other various branches at very affordable fee structure

I don't know as i am not aware of any loan facility or scholarship provided by my college but there is a loan facility to students who want to go for educational loans which i am not aware of at all.

We often play sports in our college. One can play football , cricket, basketball etc after the college hours. Moreover Shivalik college of engineering has its own basketball team, football team, volleyball team for both girls and boys.

On a scale of 10 i would like to give 7 to the hostel. Hot water facility is there but sometimes there is a problem with the food which do not happens usually but if something like this happens then college takes action by that day itself.

Seniors are very helpful and they guide juniors in every aspect and help to solve there problems related to academics or any other issue. There's no ragging allowed in the campus but though juniors are expected to respect there seniors in order to maintain the decorum.

I am a dropout . I was a student of btech studying in bangalore. I was not interested in engineering so i dropped it and through my dad's friend , i got to know about this college. Why i chose shivalik college because 1) It is located in outskirts of the dehradun where u get wonderful environment for studies. 2) living expenses are less as compared to other cities

Faculty is well qualified and highly supportive as far as from my experience . Being a final year student, i have seen the things getting changed in this college and it is worth it. Everyone is highly supportive and helpful in nature .
