In this college the course are well structured and faculty complete their courses on time and for better understanding faculty can extra classes on demands from students but course generally complete on time

As I said the acedmic are good the average placement of this college is around 5 lpa which good for any private colleges as compare to other private colleges which not give that much which is very good for this college around 95% students get placement from this college

Fees and Financial Aid

In shivalik college of engineering dehradun the course fee of btech student are 1 lac 3 thousand 9 hundred and it's increasing yearly by 5 % currently I'm paying 1 lac 3 thousand 9 hundred with examination fee 7900 rs and 7500 rs all missleneous charges

Campus Life

In this college campus is small as compare to other colleges but management of campus is well mannered which makes green's everywhere sports are on time and have opportunity for every one to participate which is good

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Life of this college good because in this college there is no ragging policy and the food of the hostel is good as compare to other colleges you non veg twice a week which is good as well as veg both is available

I personally chose this college because it's location which dehradun uttrakhand it's best location for study and fun with nature give great pleasure and the acedmic are very good in this college and average placement is good as compare to other colleges

In this college college ration of faculty and students is good overall there is semester wise exams conducted by university and sessional exam are conducted by college and labs are conducted by college as well

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

IIT Roorkee is the best one can get on overall basis.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts in Semester 7 and 8 for can say, in the last of graduation. HUL,TCS, Microsoft,JP Morgan and many huge companies visit campus for placements. Highest pakage in placement goes around 1.5 crore annually to lowest pakage around 8 LPA. Companies mainly comes for SDE role. But apart that few comes for PM, Data Science, Consulting profiles as well.

Responsive faculty and well managed curriculum to focus on specific areas of each students to make them better in the region of technolgy where they want to grow. mid level toughness with regular tests and end sem combining the internal and external practical exams.

I always loved coding and learning about new technologies. Also, jobs in CS/IT department are paid high. The faculty and student ratio is on the medium side. Faculties are highly qualified from IIT and top private colleges. They are very helpful and have a great pedagogy.

Best college of uttrakhand

Remarks:

A very good college. There is no spoon feeding scene like that of private institute. As good ranking students are there you can have a good academic competition which will nurture your ability and groom to you be a better engineer.

I choose this college of others because i wanted to continue to study in a budget friendly and well reputable college of dehradun. No i didn't get any rejection cause i dont applied in any another college. The admission process is so simple you just have to pay 10k to reserve your seat then you have to pay 15k for the admission fee and then the other process you got at college and the eligibility to get admission is 50% in intermediate....Read More

SCE is best in Dehradun

Admission criteria are different as I took admission under SC category so it was 67% cut-off for me as otherwise it was 81%. One just have to come to the college and seal the deal by filling the admission form. We are informed on call, mail and WhatsApp if our name is there in the cut-off list. I applied for Graphic Era University and I was invited too for counseling but at the same time I was getting confirmed admissions here as well. 81% was the cut-off for BBA ar Shivalik College of Engineering and I had a slight more than that.
