Remarks
All in all our college is a complete one with great opportunities provided to students and better future prospects. The infrastructure and faculty can be better but it doesn't matter much as other things like opportunities and seniors are great.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good but it can be improved by giving more importance to latest trend like machine learning and artificial intelligence. Rest is quite up to the mark. Also more importance should be given to practical exam then theory exam to improve the skills. Talking about the exam structure, there is one exam in each semester and also mid semester exam is there. The 70-30 ratio of internal and external exams is considered for getting the cumulative GPA. There are in total 8 semesters
Placement Experience
The placements in my college is one the best we have in colleges of gujarat. Almost 535 students were placed in last year with a highest package of 12 lac p.a. Several MNC's visited our college. Our college doesn't provide internships, so student have to find it on their own.
College Events
1) Lakshya fest - This is the official fest of our college which includes technical and non technical events. It is widely recognized and students from different states come here to participate in it. 2) Tarang fest - It is the Science and space fest where different models and experiments are showcased. Various space related events and worlshops are organized here. 3) Kaizen - It is the event where all the students get a chance to showcase their projects and startups to the students and guests so as to get their projects and startups recognized on large scale. Several other events also take place like hackathons, painting competition, navratri celebration, quizzes, literary talks etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees for regular boys students is - Rs. 2300 / year There is no fees for girl student. The fees for the students admitted through tuition fee wavier scheme is - Rs 800 / year. It is feasible or say negligible compared to others.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes we get a national scholarship of Rs 10000/ year. It is for the students with percentile over 80. The forms are forwarded by our college and they support us in availing this scholarship. It helps us to fullfill our basic needs with this money.
Campus Life
The labs are not that upgraded but it's okay. The sports facilities are good but not upgraded and maintenance is not good. Extra curricular activities are well organized and supported by our college management. The sports equipment are not provided by college
Alumni/Alumna
We can proudly say that we have the best seniors. They support us in every way possible be it curriculum or academics. They help us how to prepare for interviews and examinations. We are lucky that our college has the best seniors.
Admission
Our college is one of the reputed colleges of Gujarat. It is a government college and so the admission is done through merit. The merit consists of 60-40 ratio. 60% marks of state board 12th exam and 40% marks of state entrance exam is considered and hence the merit list is formed. And hence the admission is done according to the merit list.
Faculty
The faculty is quite good but they are not upgraded according to the recent trends and they give more focus to theory examinations rather than practical knowledge. Rest they are quite supportive to students in their ventures.
