My college

Positive thing is we got very good supporting faculty and seniors though we didn't have permanent campus when we joined ,they tried to give us all the possible things and negative thing is we didn't have proper labs and for few subjects we were going to other colleges for labs

In the 1st year irrespective of the branches they got everyone should study the same subjects and both semesters got 26 credits each and to promote to next year one should have minimum credits of 30 out of 52 per year and for next 2 nd 3rd years it will be the same and in the final year we will be having 22 credits in which we will get a chance to drop 1 elective subject in each sem

Placements in our college were pretty good but not that comparative with other NITs as it was a new institute the 1st batch got a decent opportunities and this year the percentage of our placement increased and even more reputated companies were coming for placements . Coming to internship it will provide all sort of information regarding internships in various fields and make the students join in that but to my knowledge there were no internships in our college from which we get stipend.

Fees varies based on the reservation categories and the financial background of the parents and for the general category and OBC students 62500 per semester is the instituition fee and 27500 is the hostle fee per semester. For SC/ST category students 5800 rupees instituition fee for 1 st semester and in 2nd semester they won't be any institute fee , they should pay hostle fee 27500 per semester If the annual income of parent is less than 1 lakh there won't be any instituition fees And for below 5lakhs 20,000 per semester is the instituition fee

SBI education loan is being provided in our institute and there were many scholarships like national scholarship (NSP) based on our annual income and the rank we got in jee mains this scheme is applicable ,gnanabhumi scholarships which is state scholarship will be given to the students with OBC ,SC,ST category students and for the students with annual income less than 1 lakh

Extra curricular activities makes the students to bring their inner talents. Conducting competitions and sending the sport aspirants to inter NIT leagues made them to conquer the fear. Technical and non technical activities , drama and dance clubs, music clubs, literature club, photography club, science and innovation clubs , workshops, guest meetings, mock interviews, debates, short film contests, photography contests, poster presentation.and there are many club activities makes the students to get a fresh mood to bring the skills in making miracles.

Hostles were good and they got good infrastructure every student will be given with a study chair and every room will be provided with an extra table fan ,each room occupancy depends on the size of the room , most probably 4 per each room and will be provided with wifi facility and for the final year students new hostles were being constructed and occupancy will be one per room

As we are the 2nd batch of our institute we got only one passed out seniors in which few were placed in campus ,few in off -campus ,few were pursuing Mtech in IITs ,few were preparing for upsc in Delhi , few were pursuing MS in abroad and others doing their long term in gate . And we were still maintaining good contact with them ,they were so helpful to us ,all the time they will guide us in all the possibile ways .They were the best one we got

Getting a seat in NITs and IIITs follows the same process in which everyone should qualify in the national level entrance exam jee mains and based on the rank we got, we will be having a chance to opt a NIT and the branch we need

Our college got a well certified faculty who has a doctorates ,everyone did their phd in well reputated national institutes, all the permanent faculty in our institute had a great teaching experience and a few had industrial experience and rest were the adhoc faculty who joined after pursuing their doctorates , And everyone of them got different teaching styles, they were student friendly.
