Remarks

no proper bathroom and drinking water facility so its problem for many students especially when it comes for girls they face a real problem when such basic facility are not provided it becomes difficult for everyone

its good neatly planned for students it is semester type so its for 6 month once we get our exam .In each exam we have to write 2 internals called c1 and c2 and comming my coure it’s chemistry so we have labs more than class

Placement Experience

no they dont provide any internship but we have desirtation thay is like a project work we need to go and work in company and no stipend for that there is good job opportunity many companies come for placement

College Events

many events are celebrated at starting we have freshers day for new joiners then in even semester we have college day where it takes place for about 1 week its called Yureka there is cultural day and even talents day

Fee Structure And Facilities

its a government college so fee are feasible but when you go from management quota it becomes little expensive but exam fees are a bit high when compared to other colleges for merit students and catagory students it is low

Fees and Financial Aid

vidyasri or epass is scholarship that we get it is actually not provided by our college rather it an government scheme which provides scholarships for students there is no loan facility in our college

Campus Life

there is no separate activity classes if you are interested then you can sing or dance on culturals day ,for sports its best we play all the tournaments that are conducted in mysore and labs are bad not maintained well

Alumni/Alumna

we have website where they updated all events in mysore but there is no alumni day or any alumni meeting so it is very less we meet our seniors it will be helpful for us if there is allumni meeting once a year

Admission

i had to write PGCET then they announced a list in 3rd round i got selected first i was selected for other college i got admissiond there also then i waited for other rounds and got selected to this college

Faculty

we have the best faculty in Mysore there are around one hundred and sixty permanent lectures who all are assistent professors and some professors and around one fifty guest faculty who now purusing their phd

excellent in acedimics

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was very much intrested to be a scientist when i choose biochemistry because its one of excellent bioscience subject to pursue the carrier as good scientist and complete the phd in bio science field 2.I would say for further acedmic carriculum like to pursue phd and to complete bioscience related competative examination will be clear by just following acedimics but am not saying it will prepare for you to a real world . 3.teaching methods is excellent as i mentioned earlier but problem is they only stick to acedmics apart from that they didnt prepare for real world problem job getting moto that is problem 4.exams level of difficulty is mediatory not high or not low as of my knowledge but other say it very difficult exams nobody able to score more than 70%.

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

I have applied for st Joseph's University Bangalore and yuvaraja's college Mysore. I choose yuvaraja's because during Covid 19 the admission process was complicated in Joseph where as it was very easy in yuvaraja's.
