Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because, this was the first college in entire Karnataka to introduce statistics. They could improve this course by taking them to industrial visit and giving some projects. The internals were conducted on time but main exam has to fix by college administration so it's their fixing date.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the1st year I have paid 5.8k and got same amount as financial aid from government. In 2nd year I have paid around 8k and got 6k as scholarship and financial year I have paid 17000 total I got 7k aid.

Campus Life

4

Coming to social life it was very excellent. As our college is exactly at City centre. There were lot's of books available in the library either we can borrow or read there only. Even have access to the computer in library. Some classroom has smart class while others they don't have. The annual sports and inter College tournament were conducted ever year.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel room was neither clumsy or spacious,it was ok. The menu was good different breakfast for entire week. Weekly thrice even they provide sweet or egg and Banana . The registration process was based on long distance from the college.

Admission

I have applied for st Joseph's University Bangalore and yuvaraja's college Mysore. I choose yuvaraja's because during Covid 19 the admission process was complicated in Joseph where as it was very easy in yuvaraja's. The fee structure was very low in yuvaraja's and was high in Joseph. The timing of college was not satisfied in Joseph's college. So I choose yuvaraja's college.

Faculty

4

Firstly I will tell about the statistics department which was very excellent and student friendly. Each and every lecture were very cooperative to do something new. Next maths department was good but some lectures were good Next physics department which okay okay ,the some lady lecture were very rude They even don't know to how to explain out of this every thing was good.

Night Life

3

There were no gym in our college,we have the canteen in our college campus. The hostel timing was 6.30 am to 6.30 pm. There were lot of hangout places near our college. There were many hotel, cafes, historical places, Temple and many more.

Other Applied Colleges

St Joseph's University | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Zoology)

It's process were complicated while admitting during Covid

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
