Animation in Manipal University

Due to limited admission available like only 30 to 40 students facultys are able to give attention to every student individually and help them develop the skills. . The name Manipal also gives us lot of respect everywhere we go

i would definitely recommend anyone who wants to become an animator to join Animation in Manipal. the curriculum totally industry based and up-to-date with latest softwares being thought. exams are semester wise and all based on practical knowledge and work quality not on theory so that your are ready to go and work on a film studio after college

In the final year we are given the opportunity to go and do internship in the studios located in bangalore or Mumbai etc where we get to work on the on going projects and get trained by senior Animatiors and if we do well in intership we get into fix jobs

Artifex , it's an annual Animation fest organised by us Animatiors , we also have different fests like artical 19 , Proverb , Oxygen etc etc many more and we also have college day end of every year and traditional day . festivals like Diwali , dandiya night , halloween , onam etc are also celebrated we also have sports day and inter college sports events too

It's not that expensive or feasible . it is somewhere in the middle . Which cost around 6 lakhs for 3 years course which includes everything . No extra charger are taken for any reason all the exam fees , internship , placement , events is included in this only

Yes student loan is available the college has tie ups with icici bank to provide students loan in less intrest rates to the needed students , scholarship are also available Konkani students which goes up to 30% and even sports quota is available

We have high end computer labs spicially made for animation students , we also have light room box for traditional Animation and green screen studio and tv studio to work on VFX and even an top end audio studio to record songs and sounds

Yes i have opted for hostel , and to tell Manipal has one of the best hostels and food courts. It has around 20 different based on kind of rooms and facilities you want and your budget. you have different kinds of hostels for everyone. From 3 sharing to NRI vip hostels all of it is available and they have multiple food courts for food too

Yes it's really helpful with the recommendation by the alumin it gets a little easier to get into placements and get jobs in top studios in India , we also get internship opportunity with the help of alumins which is really helpful

Apply for the course you want through the college website , then you will be called for entrance exam which will be 2 rounds , followed an interview , if you clear it all you get the admition into the college
