Remarks
The students are very less compared to other college even tho college is controlled by government. That may never because of the stress to live in picinic spot , wehere no theater , malls , parks available. Munnar is a poor town and the college is approximately 2 away from the town
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is littile hard if you have done the higher secondary education from biology science stream , and If you are good at computer you raise and bag the degree. There is many unwanted subjects to study in the course , that will be refined by the university in the coming academic years.
Placement Experience
Placement is very goood at our college , more than 15 placement drive will be conducted every year in the college, so the job opportunities is very high, most of the student who graduate is placed in good companies.
College Events
The are many events in our college , arts fest , sports day , The major events are IEEE events , they are absolutely stunning , which very much innovative & entertaining , A event called Kaizen which is our flagship event we welcome delegates from all over India.
Fee Structure And Facilities
If you are joing by merit dear the Tution fees is 35,000/- and if the seat category is management it’s 65,000/- , college of engineering munnar also have NRI seat which 75,000/- fees and 4,000/- rupees of other charge s will be collected from the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are many scholarships for the Surendran of minority one of the scholarship is EGRANDS , which can be redeemed only from a government colleges , that faculty is available in the college . College of engineering provides various other scholarship for the student who have high rank in entrance examination
Campus Life
The colleg provides a good sports activities not a great department, but it’s fine for a engineering college , the technical trainer is highly talented and supportive, we used to participate in all the competitions which is possible.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumini network is good , they also provides good financial support for our construction as well they used to come to deliver classes , technical workshops . They are good mentors as alumini. All the seniors are very supportive
Admission
I got admission though Kerala entrance examination for engineering entrance , everyone who came from science stream can apply for the examination , the merit list is based on the 12th mark and entrance score .
Faculty
Cannot promise all the faculty is super , few are good that’s it. Need to improvised with the latest technology. The level of few faculty member is very pathetic as we see as a government engineering college.
