As it is a totally ragging free campus. Seniors are very helpful. All times when we needed support, they help us as much as possible. Also it is a average private university so we don't get so much too good educational service.
Course Curriculum Overview
It is Good. As compared to other institution it is very similar. There is a exam in the middle time of 6 month semester. It is called Mid Sem exam. And at the last Practical and Written Exams are happened.
Placement Experience
Simply it is in the Upper Average Position. As we know the job opportunity at Information Technology sector get decreasing , The University are provided 60-80% job. Yes, they are provided some internship at their partner companies.
College Events
There are some cultural program, some technical events and also some Entertainment and Industrial Events. Like SKILL-X, MRIDANG, VALISTUS, TREE PLANTATION, BLOOD DONATION, CLEAN JISU , etc. We mostly enjoyed and participated in all those events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yes, It is average. Not so expensive or not so cheap. Like other private institution it is Okay. We don't have to give the full fees at a time. We have to give the fee as semester wise. Like in a year two times to give fees after 6months gap.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some scholarship offered by university. A scholarship named Sardar Jodh Singh Merit Scholarship is a very awesome scholarship. It is named by the founder of this University. Loan option is not offered.
Campus Life
Not so many but enough activities are there. Like there are a big ground and Cricket, football are played on that ground. In our university there are a Gym for fitness purpose. Laboraties all are there and have also enough instrument.
Hostel Facilities
I am not opted. But i know and heard some from my friends, who lives in hostel. The service is good and adjustable for a middle class family. It's not for a student from rich background. It is suitable to a average student.
Alumni/Alumna
As it is a totally ragging free campus, we are very closed to our seniors. We used to like play , read and giving adda together. They are very helpful. All times when we needed support, they help us as much as possible.
Admission
After giving my Higher Secondary Examination i choose Engineering to do.Then i given a examination named WBJEE and I got a good rank at West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination. Then in counselling i choosed many good college in West Bengal. As a Result I was selected JIS UNIVERSITY to persue my Engineering Study. Then i contact to The University and took Admission.
Faculty
They are not so very Good but As like other private institution they are Good, skilled and enough knowledgeable. Some of them from National Institute of Technology, Indian institute of Technology and some are Google Research scholar verified also. Most of them are done their PHD.
