Remarks
The College is pretty good in terms of overall remarks but there are a few issues as there are in every single college in India. There is always issue with budget when it comes to festivals. There are restrictions imposed on the contingent teams etc etc.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is good, just that in India theory is given more preferrence over practical. So, that's it. Also, there are two periodic tests and one semester exam every semester. Other than that, there are Practical and Oral exams.
Placement Experience
Job opportunities are good for students with good GPA. If you don't have enough grades, there are only a few companies for you. College doesn't provide with any internship but you can find any kind of internship online which most people do.
College Events
There are a few technical events like hackathon, etc. And one cultural event. There are a few committees working for different festivals. There is CodeStorm and Code cell who organises Hackathons. There IETE and CSI who organises technical seminars, workshop. And there is Students' Council who organises the cultural festival of the college, it is one of the biggest college festivals in Mumbai.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is feasible as there are some scholarship schemes and quotas etc. Students whose family income is less than 8 lakhs get a 50% return of the fees. Also, students who scored excellent in enterance exam get a less fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
The facility I'm aware of is the EBC. It is, if your family income is less than 8 lakhs per annum, and you have to get a valid certificate, you get a 50% return of the tuition fees you pay to the college.
Campus Life
There is a contingent team which has Dance, Drama and Fashion Show. Our Dance and Drama team won the First prize at IIM-A's festival along with many prizes here in Mumbai. We also have a Cricket team which goes to different college across country to play amd compete with them.
Hostel Facilities
There is no hostel facility in the college. If you are from outside Mumbai you'll have to get a PG nearby or rent a room somewhere. There are a few hostels nearby but not linked with college specifically.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni and the seniors are very helpful in our college. Infact if you need any help from them they are ready to help you anytime and with anything they can do. They often come to college and meet us and ask us about things happening in college.
Admission
I gave the MHTCET entrance exam to get into any engineering college in Mumbai. I am a Kashmiri pandit, so we get a seperate merit list. A councelling happened in SPCE, Andheri, where I received the college and then went to college for addmission.
Faculty
The faculty is overall good, as said, they give more preference to theory than practical. So, if anyone, is lacking behind in theory, he or she doesn't know anything even if he knows everything practically.
