Review of the college.

Our college holds the Institute of Eminence, where it recognises as one of the best colleges in the country. This can hold a lot of value for your course certificate. Thus, we get prioritised among the other colleges. And interaction between the foreign students can also help us grow by understanding different cultures around the globe.

The course curriculum is always updated & it provides us with the latest accounting procedures done in the corporate world, which enhances our knowledge much further. The exam structure is done in a 50-50 manner, where 50 marks are for the internals & the other 50 for the semester exams. 18 mark is required to pass in each of the tests.

Placements and job opportunities has been there in our uni. Our college do provide us internship. I haven’t joined the internship that the uni has provided. But the experiences from the fellow members were in a positive manner and they haven’t got any stipend. Instead, they’ve got an internship certificate that holds value in the market.

Concendo - One of the management fest which helps students bring their own idea and give a presentation on it. It helps the students to improve their communication and various other skills. Convergence - This is a management fest too, but competes within the colleges. It can add a lot of value to your CV, and it helps boosting your competing skills. Revels - Showcase your talents of dancing, singing, your skills in dramatics etc. It really brings out the creativity in you. A lot of clubs to learn anything and everything.

Fee structure is feasible for this course which holds a good value. The fee for B.Com is 137K INR, for a year. Which is feasible enough. The university hold the Institute of Eminence award where it differentiates from the other universities.

Scholarships are available for the students who can speak the local language, that is, Kannada, Tulu etc’s. Scholarships can be applied if you’re a localite. They are many other scholarship schemes given by the college if you’re doing your semester abroad course.

For all the extra curricular activities, the university promotes a lot of clubs to learn and engage more. Including sports, learning activities, dramatics, singing, dancing, etc. All these clubs help you grow in any manner you like.

The hostels are really feasible, they are clean and really safe. The uni supports the anti-ragging, hence the campus is free of ragging. Hostels are of different price range that depends upon the facilities you require. The minimum fee is 95k a year, for double sharing with common bathrooms. And the maximum is 187k for Single AC room with attached bathroom.

The senior students do really help us with the academics. They also help us in giving suggestions with the credit system, different electives to choose and various events happening in and around Manipal.

All the application procedures were done online. They had sent us the interview & written test date by e-mail. We had to go there & attend the interview & later, they sent us the results, in which I was selected.

The faculties in our college are really friendly, with less communication barriers. They act as a good friend & helps us in and out of the lectures. They help us in engaging with lots of extra curricular activities and helps the students in their research topics.
