Course Curriculum Overview
Exam is based on subject basis per semester. The ranked are displayed accordance with performance. Per year there are 2 semester. And before the semesters we have to seat for 2 internal examination for each semesters.
Placement Experience
Almost 70% student get placed but the average is very low. Our college don't get so much job opportunity in campus. Stipend is provided on based on caste by state government. Placement wise a little bit lagging behind than some colleges. Student have to go outside for internship.
College Events
Main college fest is Horizon. This a very vast techno-cultural fest if IGIT Sarang. Other than different branch function are celebrated like Technovation by dept of CSE&A( we also called as mini horizon).
Fee Structure And Facilities
As per government college the fee is around 65K but i am studying in self sustaining course so my fee is a little bit expensive of extra 45K. So for me it is expensive because a government college should not demand a such expensive fee structure.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship provided by college. Some scholarship are provided by government through college. But according to caste many needy students don't get that scholarship. Academic staff also some times rejects the applications.
Campus Life
Many competitions are organised in different level. Sports like basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, table tennis, badminton are available in our college. Many inter college competitions are also organised. But many times the funds for all this is funded by self.
Hostel Facilities
1st Yr Hostel 3/5 it has some restrictions and they charge very high for maintains as it should be funded by college. 2nd Yr Hostel 2.5/5 it has a poor infrastructure. 3rd Yr Hostel 4/5 Nice and new hostel. Nice food 4th Yr Hostel 5/5 Best of all.
Alumni/Alumna
Not very strong network but they are helpful and helps to get into interviews. During function they are being called to attend the function and requested to fund the alumini association to get it stronger.
Admission
After completing Jee Main Entrance Exam then apply for state board councelling. According to your jee main all India rank basis the counselling will be done and according to the selected college you will get seat.
Faculty
In my Opinion my college faculty are nice. A very little complaint arises but our head of the department is very very very much helpful. He provides whatever a student needs during their courses. Our dept is best in our college.
