Remarks

A negative aspect is the regularities that one has to deal with in Bihar. Metro students might take a little while to adjust to this lifestyle. The location enjoys a very low level of pollution and is serene.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The first year in the institute is common. And, in the second, year, you have the liberty to choose your own specialization. The first-year curriculum covers all the aspects of management and, you get to learn a lot of interesting things. There's an ocean that needs to be explored. The institute follows a trimester pattern and each term consists of 8 subjects of different credits. Specific weightage is given to different aspects like class participation, quizzes, assignments, mid-term exams, and end-term exams, and the grading is done accordingly.

Placement Experience

4.5

The institute has recorded 100% placements and internship opportunities since its inception. A lot of renowned companies like OYO, Kotak Bank, Yes Bank, KPMG, Bisleri visit the campus for recruitment. The average package recorded by the institute is 11LPA while the average stipend of the summer internships is Rs.60000. The ROI is high compared to the cost that needs to be incurred.

College Events

3.5

The institute respects and celebrates all the important traditions followed in the different parts of India like Ganesh Chaturthi, Onam, Diwali, and many more. The institute celebrates all the events devised by the Government of India. The annual institute festival "Elegante" is enjoying more success each year and a lot of in-house club activities and inter institute events keep the schedule pretty busy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total course fee is 10.6lakhs which includes the hostel fees. The food expense, which is not covered in the fees, on average costs about Rs.5000/month. Considerably, the fees are low compared to the other premier institutes which make the ROI high.

Fees and Financial Aid

Few banks like the SBI, UBI CBI visit the institute to offer loans to needy students. The rate of interest is almost the same and is around 8.6%. The process barely takes a day, provided all the documents are submitted. The banks offer loans as per requirement and they even provide the living expenses per month.

Campus Life

4

The institute, along with the academics gives a lot of importance to sports as well. A lot of indoor games from chess to table tennis and outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball, and volleyball are played regularly. The sports team participates in different tournaments organized by the other premier institutes. A lot of focus is also given to the social service and the different clubs organise various events round the year.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni base, as of now, is quite limited, but the alums are at very respectable positions in different premiere companies. The alums are connected with the present batches over different platforms and enjoy valuable interaction quite often.

Admission

To get into IIM Bodh Gaya or any IIM, a candidate has to clear the cutoffs of the CAT exam. The cutoffs are different for different colleges. General category aspirants are expected to score at least 80%ile in the sectional cutoffs and an overall 95%ile to appear for the next round. IIM Bodh Gaya follows the CAP(Common Admission Process) round where the students are interviewed. There's a specific weightage to the academic scores, CAT score, and interview marks and thus, the candidates are selected according to their total score.

Faculty

4.5

The institute used to have visiting faculties from the top-tier colleges earlier. However, now, the institute has 15 permanent in-house faculties who are highly qualified and have industry experience. The faculties invoke the much-needed curiosity and provide valuable insights over a wide horizon.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the MBA course in Cimage centre of digital technology for its focus on practical skills like leadership and strategic thinking, which I wanted to develop. It prepares me well for real world jobs with case studies and projects. I suggest adding more detail tools and industry trends to the curriculum. Exam 2 semester per year, well spaced but challenging some questions are tricky. Overall it's a solid course.

Placement Experience:

The median package is around 16L, and the average is around 14.5. 1st year students have to sit for the Summer Internship Process compulsorily, and in 2nd-year Final placements take place. The campus has recruiters from top companies for both processes and an excellent track record of 100%. I plan to impact society by making this a better place to live through informed decisions.
